522 is looking for a Video Producer Intern within our Client Services department. Working closely with our Producers and Creative department on our creative projects, you'll get a chance to learn about all aspects of video production in today's digital world.

522 aims to build upon a candidate's existing talents of attention to detail, meticulous organization, excellent communication, and the ability to assess and appropriately balance priorities. The Video Producer Internship will support our Producers as they oversee 15+ projects of varying scales and scope, managing key stakeholders, creatives, and team members from project inception to close. They assist in the execution of the strategy, planning, scheduling, and budgeting of video projects... all while upholding our standard for creative quality.

We believe video shouldn't be a production. We believe in making it a simple, fun, collaborative process. We produce videos that people actually want to watch - maybe even share. And by repeating this process often enough, we aim to become the most fun, most loved video agency on the planet.

Responsibilities

As an Innovation Producer Intern, you'll get the chance to stretch your creative and producing muscles on one of the greatest brands on the planet. You'll work closely with the innovation Catalyst with an opportunity to show your skills on a broad range of programs. Besides having strong event management/production experience, and a passion to roll up your sleeves and learn the art of creative problem solving, you'll be able to work with to support the execution of multiple projects that deliver concepts and BIG Ideas. * Drive, Execute & Anticipate the day-to-day logistical needs of various projects, including budget management, stimulus material sourcing, event set up and strike along with the details needed for successful project sessions
* Creative research, identifying and sharing the latest trends in arts, technology, business, creativity, and pop culture
* Support and administer engagement with our virtual platform partner, MURAL
* Manage project timelines in accordance to established deadlines and processes.

Basic Qualifications

You bring….

* Skills in project management, execution & a curiosity for robust data mining
* 150% enthusiasm for your work with an ability to collaborate with diverse personalities to extract the best work. Curiosity for the question is the goal
* Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects
* Knowledge of working within an Advertising Agency, Innovation shops or similar creative environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Keynote, and Google Docs
* An interest in design thinking, creative problem solving, and innovation

Preferred Qualifications

* Basic knowledge and understanding of the Walt Disney Company history including films, animation, television, consumer products and theme parks
* Proficiency in MURAL, Slack, and Adobe Creative Cloud
* PA Experience in the TV/Entertainment industry
* Ability to analyze financial data

Required Education:

* Currently enrolled in (or within 6 months of graduation date) an accredited university studying Marketing, Business, Event Management, or related major

Internship Eligibility:

* Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
* Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

* This internship is a hybrid position -- Must be able to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Orlando, FL area. Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.
* Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2023 through June 2023. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday, with possible evenings and weekends if necessary.

This internship will begin on June 12 and run through August 11. Interns will be placed at TEGNA stations around the country.

What Will You Be Doing as a Producer (News) Intern?

* Assist producers and editors create content for shows
* Produce engaging content for our broadcast shows
* Pitch ideas or feedback on stories, production formats, and content under review
* Conduct research relative to content development, best practices, and other topics of interest
* Leverage social media and other tools to understand the audience's needs
* Attend production meetings
* Work alongside on-air and segment producers, editors, news writers, anchors, and occasionally travel with journalists for stories and live remotes.
* Collaborate with TEGNA staffers on special projects as needed

Qualifications:

* Strong written and oral communication skills
* You have strong organizational skills and the ability to work calmly under deadlines and in breaking news situations
