The Supervising Producer is a critical creative leader responsible for developing, producing, and shooting a wide range of content in partnership with the university. Leveraging deep industry experience, this role oversees multiple content executions-spanning NIL, original programming, and branded content-that fuel fan engagement, elevate student-athlete storytelling, and unlock revenue opportunities for local and national Learfield sales teams.
Working closely with the centralized Learfield Studios team, the Supervising Producer leads the local content team and is the primary on-campus representative. They collaborate closely with the athletic department, school production teams, student-athletes, and local staff to ideate, create, and deliver a robust and innovative content slate.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee the full Learfield Studios content operation at the university, including creative, production, distribution, analytics, content strategy, and sales integration.
Lead the development and production of NIL, original, and branded episodic video content to grow fan engagement and drive revenue for local and national sales teams.
Build trust-driven relationships with student-athletes and guide them through all original, branded, and NIL content initiatives.
Partner with the athletic department, local property team, and sponsors to create custom NIL content aligned with stakeholder voice, tone, and brand guidelines.
Shape and continuously refine NIL content best practices across creative, production, distribution, and student-athlete communication.
Advise on content strategy that supports athletics priorities, increases engagement, and drives local and national revenue.
Manage the on-site content producer, specialist, and additional production resources; delegate effectively to maximize team output.
Produce, write, direct, and shoot narrative and serialized Learfield Studios content at the university.
Serve as the creative lead and supervising producer for all active projects.
Use data, trends, and creative insight to develop year-round Learfield Studios content strategy and proactive content calendars.
Pitch, ideate, and execute NIL and branded video series for sales teams; participate in client presentations and productions.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet all agreed-upon deliverables.
Develop research, pre-production, production, post-production, distribution, and analysis plans for all proactive and reactive content series.

Maintain strong communication with Athletics, SIDs, coaches, and athletic administrators to align content with departmental priorities.
Manage pre-sale content presentations, including projected performance, distribution plans, and creative overviews.
Track performance of all campaigns and create comprehensive recaps for partners, sales teams, and leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in sports or entertainment creating, writing, producing, and directing video content.
Hands-on experience shooting and directing video.
Experience leading a team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate creative concepts to executive leadership.
Passionate storyteller with extensive experience driving audience engagement.
Proven experience in sports and/or entertainment environments.

About the Role
We're looking for a creative, highly organized, and forward-thinking Global Social Media Content Producer & Production Lead to join Lenovo's global social media team (@Lenovo), based in Morrisville, NC.
This role sits at the intersection of hands-on social-first content production and scaled production leadership, supporting Lenovo's social media storytelling through compelling short-form video content and high-impact global events.
You'll serve as a one-stop shop for filming and editing social content while also leading production through in-house resources and agency support. You'll collaborate closely with creative contractors, internal stakeholders, partners, agencies, and event teams to ensure Lenovo's social presence reflects innovation, quality, and authenticity - across both always-on content and major global moments.
Content Production (Approx. 70%)
This role sits on the production side of Lenovo's global social media team - turning approved content briefs into social-first, on-brand assets.
While peers on the team lead content alignment and platform strategy (including stakeholder engagement, messaging alignment, and brief development), this role is responsible for bringing those briefs to life through efficient, creative, and scalable production - both hands-on and through managed resources.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary creative producer, filming and editing short-form social content from Lenovo's Morrisville, NC office.
* Act as production lead for two India-based creative contractors producing animation, motion graphics, and video edits.
* Manage the end-to-end production process once briefs are approved - translating briefs into actionable deliverables, production schedules, and timelines.
* Provide thoughtful, actionable feedback on early creative edits and ensure all assets are optimized for global social platforms.
* Act as a Change Champion for integrating AI into social media production - identifying, testing, and scaling tools that improve efficiency and creative output.
* Collaborate closely with peers managing content alignment and platform strategy to ensure production feasibility, creative consistency, and timeline alignment.
* Track content performance post-production and surface actionable insights for continuous improvement.
