The Men's Apparel Designer works directly with the Director of Design & Product, collaborating to create a line consistent with seasonal direction and the Duck Head aesthetic. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day design functions for assigned categories.
About the Role:
Research: Provide market, trend, and vintage research based on seasonal inspiration and brand lifestyle direction.
Design: Develop concepts for assigned categories based on seasonal direction-including original sketches, color-ups, and material suggestions. Additionally, oversee seasonal trim design and development.
Development: Complete tech packs/design sheets for tech hand-offs, ensuring they are accurate and clear for the Technical Design team. Responsible for lab dip, knit-down, strike-off, and handloom approvals and comments.
Fittings: Participate in fit sessions from proto to production, ensuring fit, construction, and material accuracy at each product stage.
Communication: Maintain clear, daily communication with vendors and internal partners regarding updates, approvals, and changes in the assortment.
Presentation: Collaborate with the Director of Design & Product to present design concepts at sketch, proto, and SMS stages. Clearly communicate inspiration and ideas to both the internal design team and cross-functional partners.
Organization: Create and maintain seasonal boards (both physical and digital), keeping them consistently updated following meetings and fittings.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional team members in Product Development, Technical Design, and Merchandising to ensure brand alignment. Also, partner with Marketing and Sales to ensure all products are on time for sales meetings and photoshoots.
Teamwork: Support the Design Team and Director of Design to ensure calendar deadlines are met. Ensure design deliverables are completed on time to support seamless product development and on-time market launches.

Who we would like to meet:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Generally, 4+ years of proven fashion design experience, preferably within the men's category.
Expertise with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of CAD and PLM software.
Some travel may be required to support design and development initiatives.
Strong understanding of the Duck Head aesthetic, brand position and customer.
Technical skill and strong knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, construction techniques, fit, and trim.
In-depth knowledge of innovative design techniques and processes.

The Role
SiteCare is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer to improve and evolve client websites quickly, cleanly, and with excellent taste.
This role is ideal for a designer who moves fast without making a mess. Most of your work will be improving existing WordPress websites through high-impact section redesigns, UX cleanup, and layout refinement. You'll also support SiteCare's internal marketing efforts by creating ad creative and related campaign design assets.
You do not need to be a WordPress developer, but you do need to understand how to design in a modular, block-based way so what you create can be implemented efficiently.
This role requires consistent availability during 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET for collaboration and fast turnaround.
What You'll OwnClient Design Improvements (75%)
Redesign key page sections (heroes, value props, social proof, CTAs, pricing, FAQs) to improve clarity, hierarchy, and conversion flow.
Clean up UX issues across existing pages, including site navigation, user journeys, spacing, typography, responsiveness, and consistency.
Recreate existing live site layouts in Figma when original design files are unavailable.
Work in fast iteration loops with Account Managers to deliver high-quality updates without drawn-out review cycles.
Provide designs that are implementation-ready for Developers (clear structure, consistent components, sensible constraints).
SiteCare Marketing Creative (25%)
Design ad creative and variations for paid campaigns.
Collaborate directly with the Chief of Staff on internal marketing priorities.
Support campaign landing page design as needed.
Speed Expectations
This role is built around strong execution with fast turnaround.
For most common client requests, we expect initial design delivery within 24-48 hours, with iterative revisions handled quickly and professionally.
About AI-Generated Design Work
We are not looking for AI-generated design output. This role requires strong human design judgment, taste, and original execution in Figma. Tools can support workflow, but your layouts, hierarchy, typography, and UX decisions must be your own.

Client design requests move faster and more smoothly.
Pages look more polished, cohesive, and intentional.
Communication loops tighten, with less back-and-forth and fewer misunderstandings.
Developers receive cleaner, more buildable design assets.

What We're Looking For
You have:
5+ years of UI/UX or web design experience, ideally across multiple sites and industries. Agency experience would be very relevant.
Strong layout and typography instincts (you can make a page feel “expensive” fast).
Deep expertise in Figma, including components, auto layout, and structured files.
The ability to recreate a site's design in Figma using the live site as the source of truth.
A practical understanding of designing for WordPress block-based layouts (modular thinking, reusable patterns).
A low-ego, high-iteration mindset and the ability to take feedback without defensiveness.
Strong communication skills and a reputation for responsiveness in a remote environment.
