ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Artera is seeking a mid-level ProductDesigner to tackle all aspects of the design process. This is a multidisciplinary role that includes research, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design while working with agile cross-functional teams across multi-device experiences.
We are looking for a product-minded designer who is able to look deeply at holistic user experiences, device ecosystems, and be able to align that to business objectives. This means exercising good judgment in assessing inputs from teammates, synthesizing these inputs into complete designs, and prioritizing tasks based on desired outcomes.
This role will contribute to how we define design processes, interaction models, and visual systems, in service of creating exceptional digital product experiences.
Responsibilities
Agile Collaboration & Problem Solving: Work directly with product management and engineering in an agile environment to solve complex design challenges.
Full-Stack UX/UI Delivery: Support the team as needed with wireframes, flow diagrams, rapid prototypes and visual design to help communicate and validate design ideas.
User Research & Usability Testing: Facilitate user research, in collaboration with the team, to validate prototypes and conduct ongoing usability testing of the working software.
Strategic Design Communication: Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.

Requirements
Professional Experience: 4+ years of working experience in designing digital products from concept to implementation.
End-to-End Design Mastery: A design portfolio or case studies that demonstrates outstanding interaction design skills from architecture, flow mapping, to prototyping as well as a thorough understanding of graphic design, page layout and typography.
Strategic Tooling & Fidelity: Comfortable working in both low and high fidelity with a keen sense of what tool(s) to choose to clearly communicate ideas or solutions.
Design Advocacy & Storytelling: Ability to articulate the process, approach, and impact of designs.

The Role
As our Email Marketing Designer, you'll lead the visual development of Eight Sleep's email marketing - from high-performing lifecycle flows to product launches and promotional campaigns. You'll work closely with our Lifecycle, Growth, and Design teams to create email experiences that not only look beautiful but also drive real business impact. This role sits in our Milan office and reports to the Director of Lifecycle Marketing.
How You'll Contribute
We are a mission-driven company, so passion for our work is key. This role spans three main areas:
* Design: Create visually compelling, on-brand emails for all stages of the customer journey-from onboarding to retention to reactivation. Deliver pixel-perfect Figma files for implementation in Klaviyo
* Validate: Use performance data and behavioral insights to inform design decisions and propose A/B testing ideas
* Iterate: Improve designs through feedback and testing results. Help evolve our email design system while staying grounded in our style guide and voice
What You'll Do
* Collaborate with the Lifecycle team (copywriter, implementation manager) as well as Product and Brand to concept and execute high-performing email designs
* Design emails for campaigns, product launches, flows, onboarding, newsletters, and more
* Translate strategy and messaging into visually engaging and conversion-optimized emails
* Maintain consistency with Eight Sleep's brand guidelines while iterating on layout and design innovation
* Propose thoughtful A/B test ideas focused on driving engagement and conversion
* Help evolve the visual identity of our emails and push our brand forward
* Work in a fast-paced environment that values iteration, creativity, and clear communication
What You Need to Succeed
* 2+ years of professional experience in visual design, email marketing, or digital brand execution
* Strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful, high-performing email designs for consumer brands
* Proficiency in Figma and a strong understanding of mobile-first and direct response design principles
* Excellent visual storytelling skills and understanding of brand voice, hierarchy, and layout
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across marketing, product, and creative teams
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to improve email performance through design
Bonus Points For:
* Familiarity with Klaviyo or similar email platforms
* Experience working on DTC or consumer hardware brands
* Understanding of email testing frameworks (subject lines, layout, CTAs, etc.)
* Exposure to performance marketing and data-informed design workflows

We are currently looking for a part-time Designer to join our Precision Coils team! The Designer creates and updates productdesign drawings, submittals, and bill of materials as they are laid out by the productdesign team. Tasks are handed down from the design team(s) to the Designer. Tasks are very specific with little or no non-standard work assignments. Work may include but is not limited to: Drawing, changes/revisions, IAN's and other documentation as required.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Part time position (20-30 hours a week)
Create drawings for new products, changes to existing products, and special design requests using computer-aided design technology under the direction of the design team
Interpret customer drawings, and pictures, as well as written and verbal descriptions into a design that meets the customers' needs while also manufacturing best practices.
Assist in preparing bill-of-materials on new and changed designs and special design requests under the direction of the design team
Maintains drawing files (CAD, PDF, and other documentation)
May be involved with the BOM work and setup of purchased components under the direction of the design team
Minimal involvement with prototyping new sheet metal designs
May provide support to sales and marketing staff through the creation of submittal drawings or technical assistance on simple inquiries under the direction of the design team / supervisor
May provide technical direction to shop floor personnel to correct simple sheet metal productdesign problems as they arise. Communicate design problems to appropriate engineering personnel for corrective action
Under the direction of the design team, prepare information for needed documentation (Drawings for operation manuals, maintenance files, purchase part info records, etc.) related to a design project
May assist in the resolution of field problems by traveling to the site with other engineering staff as needed
May participate (help) in value engineering projects to continually improve the cost efficiency of design and manufacturing processes in the form of drawing changes and IAN completion (BOM work) as directed by the design team
Job Qualifications:
Knowledge of 3D CAD systems (Inventor Preferred).
