POSITION DESCRIPTION
You must be comfortable selling your design ideas to the client. You will be responsible for closing the sale. Castle has Project Developers who go on leads and sell Design Agreements allowing you to focus on Design.
Your goal is to generate between $1-1.5M in annual design build revenue that meets profitability and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
Responsibilities include in home visits, budgetary estimate creation and presentation, writing scope of work, estimating, designing and drafting residential remodeling projects with Chief Architect software, product selections/interior design, preparing project for the hand-off to production, and ordering of some materials.
Design/sell basements, attics, kitchens, bathrooms, whole house, exteriors, porches, decks, and additions.
Salaried full-time position with a comprehensive benefit package and sales bonuses in addition to base salary.
Castle to generate high volume well estimated design agreements to hand off to Designers.
Flexible schedule but expected to meet with clients and employees as needed during typical work hours, and home tours (in person or virtual) 1-2 times a year

Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years of facility/process design, civil/structural design, or related industry experience is required. OSHA 10 OR 30 Hour certification is preferred, or the willingness to obtain upon hire.

Role Qualifications as a Product Design Engineer:

Product Designer, Reality Labs Responsibilities:
1. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our 2 billion plus users
2. Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces
3. Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define visual systems
4. Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Facebook products
5. Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually improve for quality
6. Drive a partnership with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists in order to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
7. Willingness to represent work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly communicating the goals and concepts

8. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
9. 4+ years designing complex software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives
10. Experience conducting advanced usability testing and gathers feedback from varied stakeholders to inform product strategy
11. Experience developing and implementing design strategies, leads design efforts, and presents to executive-level stakeholders
12. Proficiency in prototyping tools and building high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts

13. A breadth of experience designing products for virtual, augmented, mixed reality and/or other emerging technologies
14. Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders such as User Research, Engineering, and Product Management

17. Experience designing products for developers and/or creators

$135,000/year to $194,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
