At QISG, our Transmission Line teams play a vital role in the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of power across communities and regions. We design, build, maintain, and upgrade high-voltage transmission infrastructure that supports the backbone of the electric grid. The Designer, Transmission will perform routine Transmission Line design assignments, which requires knowledge and skill in basic design techniques and procedure. Thorough knowledge of design standards, material, and CAD software will be required. Experience with 3D design software packages is preferred. This position will report to a Lead Designer and support transmission line projects across the QISG platform.
