Your Role
As our Senior Tooling Designer, you will partner closely with foundry tooling engineers and pattern makers to translate casting requirements into robust tooling solutions:
Tooling Design & Layout: Develop multi-cavity mold and core box configurations using 3D CAD (PowerShape, Inventor, Creo, NX, etc.), applying shrink, draft, radii, and fillet modifications for manufacturability.
CAD Modeling & Surfacing: Create accurate 3D models from 2D layouts, perform complex surfacing tasks, and calculate pattern offsets to ensure dimensional precision.
CAM Support: Provide CNC toolpath-ready models and detailed geometry information to CAM programmers for efficient machining of patterns and cores.
Documentation & Drawings: Produce comprehensive build, assembly, and material-takeoff drawings for the pattern shop; respond to design inquiries and coordinate material orders.
Process Improvements: Recommend new tooling technologies and rework strategies; lead training sessions for pattern personnel to elevate shop capabilities.

Design Engineer is responsible for design engineering support of new and existing product, including part, tool, fixture, and gage design in a metal stamping, fabricating and assembly environment, under direction of Director or Design Engineer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Customer assistance on product design
Customer feedback on design for manufacturability
Participation in internal and customer product and print design reviews
Review of tolerance schemes
Tool design for sheet metal punching, forming and fabricating
Tool design for metal stamping in DiNamic press and standard tooling for slide machines
Fixture design for welding and / or assembly
Gage, staging fixture and / or comparator traces for part quality inspection
Establish and maintain design timeline
Collaborate with tool building team to build tools, fixtures and gages
Support production and Manufacturing Engineering teams during early product development and validation
Assist internal teams on other engineering functions as required
Participation in cross-functional product launch teams within the framework of APQP
Other duties as assigned or required
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
Associate's degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience
3D CAD proficiency required, SolidWorks preferred
Familiarity with LogoPress preferred
Minimum 5 years related design experience
Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing, metal stamping or fabrication
Familiarity with APQP process preferred
MS Office proficiency
Established organization and project tracking techniques
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required to sit and talk or hear; occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. Position Overview:
As a User Experience / User Interface (UX/UI) Designer, you will be part of an integral team committed to taking user experience design to the next level at Mercury Marine. You will work collaboratively and independently with highly qualified industrial designers, user interface designers and usability professionals who are responsible for developing helm to stern experiences for both on and off boat experiences. This is a hybrid position is based in Fond du Lac, WI and requires onsite presence in the office at least 3 days per week or more based on job responsibilities.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in User Experience/User Interface related field
5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio of consumer-facing digital products (mobile, connected vessel platforms).
Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design principles.
Skilled in conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing insights into actionable design.
Able to craft and communicate compelling user narratives that drive design decisions.
Expert in Figma and familiar with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Working knowledge of digital production processes and constraints.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $72,000 - $115,300 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
