RESPONSIBILITIES Areas that play to your strengths All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: Expand all * PRODUCT & PROJECT OWNERSHIP Own a product pillar from start to finish, encompassing discovery and delivery, while providing clear and confident guidance for design strategy in uncertain situations. Lead impactful design initiatives across native mobile, web, TV, and emerging platforms for a global audience. Work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and delivery timelines. Collaborate with UX Research to identify insights, drive research efforts, and validate product decisions. Provide support for vendor and agency partnerships, including scope, contracts, and creative alignment (with assistance). Proactively identify the need for design or research resources and bring this to the attention of leadership. Facilitate design critiques, maintain transparent workflows, and promote cross-functional collaboration. * DESIGN EXCELLENCE & DELIVERY Provide platform-native UI/UX for mobile, TV, and web that aligns with brand values, boosts performance, and is informed by user insights. Manage the complete design process-from initial exploration and prototyping to flawless execution and handoff-while working closely with product, design, and other stakeholders. Take responsibility for and develop the design system, adding reusable components and scalable patterns to enhance the overall experience. Maintain high standards of design quality and ensure consistency with the product's vision, even when priorities change. Work together on asset delivery and conduct post-launch quality assurance to ensure the final experience matches the original intentions. * COMMUNICATION & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ALIGNMENT Clearly communicate the design rationale to cross-functional teams and leadership, influencing direction and decision-making. Develop engaging presentations to convey product vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders. Facilitate team-wide understanding through project updates, all-hands meetings, and design synchronizations. Encourage a culture of feedback, iteration, and shared learning within the design team and beyond. EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: * Expertise in Figma, including prototyping, components, variables, auto-layout, responsive design, and systems thinking. * 5-7 years of product design experience with a proven track record of successful mobile and cross-platform application deliveries. * Extensive knowledge of UX/UI principles and platform-specific guidelines, staying informed about emerging trends. * Comprehensive understanding of native platforms across mobile and TV operating systems, including Apple and Android. * Experienced in developing and contributing to design systems, with documentation for use by cross-functional teams. * Known for maintaining high standards of craftsmanship, possessing a keen eye for interaction details, and enhancing the finer aspects that are important. * Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable; comfortable leading independently or working as part of cross-functional teams. * Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. * Travel 10-20% * Permanent * Benefits eligible WHERE YOU'LL BE BASED Santa MonicaCalifornia, United States United StatesRed Bull North America
