YOUR ROLE

As Product Development Technician, you will be part of a highly motivated team that develops functional coatings for the Automotive Electronic Vehicle market Assemble battery cells and manage cell cycling equipment Prepare and apply coating formulations Supports Product Development team in key ADP/MOC projects by executing testing and generation of data Tabulate, plot and interpret data, and maintain meticulous and up-to-date records in electronic laboratory notebook Present results and project status to stakeholders Plan and organize projects, and support laboratory needs including equipment calibrations, ordering of materials, and overall laboratory cleanliness Maintain a safe laboratory, follow safe practices, and ensure products and processes comply with all regulatory requirements

The Product Development Technician is responsible for working directly with the Product Development team to execute start and finish processes on new products during development. Independently works within teams to develop and test sustainable processes for new items.
This opportunity is located on our Main Campus in Kerrville, TX.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Provides proficient technical expertise and support of Product Development in all phases of start and finish operations. Participates in Concurrent Engineering activities, assessing/correcting root cause defects in developmental stages. Provides input for gates, model alterations, product sustainability, skill set development, and supportive tooling, etc., while maintaining design quality esthetics.

• Assists in the development, integration and monitoring of new production processes/techniques, new materials, tool innovations and systems to ensure product quality and efficiency of various manufacturing methods.

• Assures "On Time" delivery of new products, product changes, and conversions, to scheduled events.

• Performs basic to Intermediate Model Making and model repair.

• Develops Bill of Materials (BOM's), Routes and quality work instructions.

• Enters data into project tracking software.

• Observes all safety regulations; participates in safety training; and reports all unsafe conditions to the appropriate company personnel.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• HS Diploma or equivalent.

• Two years of experience in manufacturing processes required, utilizing standardized procedures, tools, fixtures or machinery.

• Demonstrated manufacturing skills including mold making, gemstone setting, laser trade marking, casting, enameling, wax injection, mechanical finish, handmade, make-up and furnace.

Preferred Qualifications

• College or technical degree with an emphasis in jewelry technology.

• Demonstrated project/time management, and problem-solving skills - collaborating between Product Development and various departments (Design, Product Launch, Tooling, and Manufacturing) for new product development from prototype development to stock build.

• Knowledge of CAD modeling.

• Knowledge of Product Development processes within Manufacturing.

• Knowledge and understanding of company product quality standards.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Synopsis of the role The Product, Data & Analytics and Technology (PDAT) Rotational Development Program. This dynamic program provides recent college graduates with challenging assignments, training and valuable exposure to Equifax's senior leaders.
Key Program Elements

What you'll do
Planning & Execution LeadManage aspects of a small technical project of low complexity or phases of a medium/larger technical project.Coordinate activities of the project team, identifying appropriate resources when needed, understanding budget implications and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.Prepare and provide timely documentation for project team meetings keeping and project reporting.

Product Owner / ArchitectDevelop skills to support the discovering, developing and evaluating of new product ideas, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions as well as establishing product specifications.Participate in planning and tracking all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace.Engage with all members of the scrum team to provide an end-to-end view of the product through all stages of development.Manage the product backlog, turn features to stories, and maintain the work pipeline for the software development engineering team.

Site Reliability EngineerWork in a DevOps environment contributing to build and run of small scale and fault-tolerant systems.Assist with the creation of new tools and scripts for auto-remediation of incidents.Work closely with development and operations teams assisting in building highly available and cost effective systems.Participate in measuring and monitoring system impairments and outages.Assist the cloud operations team in resolving system issues.

What experience you need
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or equivalent field.Completion of undergraduate degree by May 2023.Remain geographically flexible during the program.Demonstrated leadership skills: minimum of two examples such as: School club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects.
