Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Read technical drawings and ensure manufacturing processes align with these blueprints. Use measurement tools to ensure products meet design specifications. Design and implement solutions for existing and new manufacturing equipment and train staff on new manufacturing solutions. Design and oversee production of press tooling, fixtures, and other production equipment. Support maintenance in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. Determine and implement solutions to prevent manufacturing downtime. Develop, maintain, and train operators on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other manufacturing process documentation. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, reduce cost, and increase efficiency. Research, validate, and manage the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, focusing on automation, adhesives, and bonding processes. Ensure all manufacturing processes and equipment comply with company safety and ergonomic standards. Develop and present justifications for capital expenditures (CapEx) on new equipment, tooling, and automation, including cost-benefit and ROI analysis. Act as the manufacturing lead for new product introductions (NPI), developing process flows, conducting PFMEAs (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and validating production readiness. Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related quality issues, leading root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing permanent corrective actions (CAPA) to reduce scrap and rework.
