Basic Purpose of the role: The Product Development Engineer administers new product creation, engineering changes, and qualification processes for data center products, bills of material, and labor routings for all new products and product changes via prototyping and actual manufacturing process performance analysis. They develop quotations for non-standard and new product pricing requests. The Product Development Engineer also maintains engineering drawings, specifications, and quality procedure documentation. Responsibilities: Develops processes for new families of products with production, purchasing, quality, and operations teams. Proactively accounts for potential changes to designs and future-proofs where possible. Creates quotes for new design and maintains design history throughout quoting process. Maintains engineering drawings and specifications. Administers processes for new part number creation, bills of material/labor changes, and new product quote requests but not information related to MI%. Interprets project needs from customer, project manager, or architectural drawings and communicates feasibility, lead times, and potential challenges. Creates project submittal documents for approval of project design and details. Supports manufacturing team with new process development. Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering is required. Zero to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD systems is required. Project Management experience is a plus. Previous experience with engineering drawing standards and practices, new product development, manufacturing processes and controls a plus. Must be proficient with Solidworks. AutoCAD and Revit experience a plus, particularly BIM modeling. Must have strong attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) applications and computer technology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. About the Role: The Design Engineer manages new product creation, engineering changes, and qualification processes for data center products, bills of material, and labor routings for all new products and product changes via prototyping and actual manufacturing process performance analysis. They develop quotations for non-standard and new product pricing requests. The Design Engineer also maintains engineering drawings, specifications, and quality procedure documentation. What You'll Do Develops processes for new families of products with production, purchasing, quality, and operations teams. Three to Eight years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) systems is required. Project Management experience is a plus. Previous experience with engineering drawing standards and practices, new product development, manufacturing processes and controls a plus. Must be proficient with SolidWorks. AutoCAD and Revit experience a plus, particularly BIM (Building Information Modeling) modeling. Must have strong attention to detail. Full-time Description SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES The Biomedical Engineer/Regional Sales team member is responsible for providing support and services to PTCOA locations as well as external clients. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of biomedical equipment. Provide technical support, repair, and assistance to internal and external clients for biomedical equipment. Delegate project tasks to applicable internal resources and continually monitor and track progress of assigned tasks. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to be shared with management and impacted staff members. Track overall project performance, specifically to ensure the successful and timely completion of short-term and long-term tasks. Meet budgetary objectives of project. Report and escalate issues to Administration as needed. Perform risk management analyses to minimize project risks. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Receive and respond to requests from team members regarding issues and needs at the Company's leased and owned facilities. This includes the responsibility to monitor the Service Desk requests related to facilities/building issues at all leased and owned facilities. Coordinate service calls, repairs, and other maintenance as needed for PTCOA's leased and owned facilities, while providing excellent customer service. Act as liaison between team members and external parties regarding the Company's leased facilities and serve as point of contact for these facilities.
