Purpose/Summary Provides Advanced Engineering Support to Manufacturing. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities shall include but not limited to: Provide support to the Business Unit Engineering & maintenance teams to assist with trouble shooting and elimination of chronic maintenance items. Plans, designs and analyzes manufacturing processes for facility. Maximizes efficiency by optimization of layout of equipment, workflow & assembly methods. Determines the parts, equipment, tools and processes needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications. Proficiency with P.C. based software. Strong equipment troubleshooting skills Will act as a knowledge resource and guide for less experienced engineers. Familiarity with PLC programming for the purpose of trouble shooting process development. Experience with high volume operations. Experience with designing part fixtures and tooling. Proficiency with CAD software, solid modeling software is a requirement and AutoCAD is a plus. Able to work with others in a team environment to achieve a common goal. Able to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient with MS Office products. Experience in automotive industry, preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities None

Utilize ERP system to create/maintain part numbers and bills of materials. Performs other duties as assigned. WHAT WE SEEK 5+ years of engineering work experience. Experience on value improvement of consumer products. Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), E-mail, and ERP systems. Proficient mechanical design skills using CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoDesk) 3D design capability is a must. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Good verbal and written communication skills. Proven track record of accomplished projects with increasing responsibilities and results demonstrated.
