Summary: Shoals Technologies is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who will report to the Director of Operations. The position is responsible for helping to improve the quality of the product while lowering the cost to produce it. * Evaluate new and current product process and provide input regarding manufacturability and cost. * Support installation troubleshooting and PLC/Robotic/CNC programming on new or existing machines. * Assure that all applicable quality and safety standards are met for new and existing processes. * Travel as needed to other Brake & Wheel End facilities for process improvmenet/implementation as well as evaluation of potential suppliers. * Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications * 2+ years experience in manufacturing engineering, 8+ preferred. * Professional experience in manufacturing engineering in an automated CNC environment is desirable. * Formal training in CNC machining is desirable. * Candidate must demonstrate an ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and GD&T. * 3D modeling experience is required. * Hands-on experience in tooling & fixturing methods is required. * Experience in procurement of manufacturing systems and equipment required.
