An engineer in this role is responsible for design, development, integration, and certification with systems such as wheels, brakes, tires, landing gear, complex mechanisms and sheet metal along with structural strength of these systems on both the SR and SF platforms as well as new projects. Produce monthly project reports displaying project status and updates for customers Participates in all phases of the contract modification process. Assists in preparation of scopes of work for RFP's, assists in preparation of government estimates, assists with reviews of contractor's proposals, and prepares contract modification documentation. Attend and participate in meetings with customers and contractors. Performs other duties as assigned Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field Minimum 10 years Construction Project Management experience PMP certification is preferred. Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, is preferred. Strong background in Project Management (PM), with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required Strong technical competencies to create presentation materials and deliver presentations via electronic methods.
