General Summary:
The Mission Critical Quality / Commissioning Project Engineer will be responsible for providing a high level of project-specific administrative support for the onsite Quality and Commissioning Team. The QCx Project Engineer will assist the onsite QCx Manager with the control and organization of product documentation and detailed phase-by-phase tracking.

Responsibilities:
* Drive a quality culture that embraces "Implement Quality from the Start" and coach continuous learning approach that improves project efficiency and quality.
* Identify areas for improvement while implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
* Assist investigations into quality-related incidents, conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions, establishing preventative measures to minimize future incidents.
* Assist in the verification and documentation for all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment, ensuring the conformance with the approved submittal while adhering to the Equipment Protection Plan.
* Engage with the construction team and QCx team to support Foreign Objects and Debris (FOD) inspections prior to Energization on MV / LV SWGR, MV / LV XFMRs, Panelboards etc.
* Assist onsite QCx team with administrative support as needed.
* Participate in required daily, weekly, and monthly meetings (i.e., daily Cx, scheduling, coordination, pre-energization, and staffing meetings).
* Assist in the coordination of the First Time Energization (FTE) documentation process from start to finish.
* Identifies potential quality issues from review of construction submittals / specifications.
* Analyzes upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment installation standards, checklist procedures and training.
* Conduct regular audits and assessments of processes, systems, and documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Manage all project issue logs and punch lists collaborating with all affected and / or responsible parties to mitigate and drive to closure any open issues.
* Audit Quality Reports documenting field discrepancies and audit findings while coordinating corrective actions.
* Ascertain information regarding changes to regulations that could impact Mission Critical operations.
* Identify and assess quality risks associated with Mission Critical operations.
* Manage / track certain OFCI equipment while communicating status with the construction team.
* Develop / conduct training pertaining to topics in relation to electrical systems, components, and/or departmental specific.

Working Conditions:
* Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, or snow.
* Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns).
* Work from all types of ladders and be able to transport/relocate ladders unassisted.

SUMMARY
Eagle Electrical Services seeks a Project Engineer who will be responsible for aiding in the planning, directing, coordinating and budgeting activities concerned with electrical construction projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in estimating hand off meetings.
Counts for buyouts of packages.
Assist with management of documents for the Field.
Assist in establishing project schedule with PM.
Assist in creating cost code allocations from initial estimate.
Work with PM and Prefab Manager to discuss prefabrication opportunities and coordinate lay out, plan and schedule for any prefabricated assemblies.
Assist with project change orders.
Work closely within Office and Field to ensure they have the latest drawings.
Visit job sites and attend job meetings as needed.
Assist with bi-weekly projection on job cost.
Manage vendors and track all deliveries of materials.
Assist with issuing timely RFIs.
Work with Project Coordinators as required for assistance in Purchase and delivery tracking, software inputs, permit pulling, change order management, project close out materials, administrative duties, etc.
Assist with job close out manuals and as-builts.
Participate in job close out meetings.
