This role involves creating detailed project plans, tracking progress, and reporting status, risks, and achievements to stakeholders. The Project Engineer will coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery within schedule and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of engineering experience and a proven track record of developing solutions and collaborating across engineering teams to deliver high performing and reliable systems. Responsibilities: Lead system engineering efforts through requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and validation Develop and maintain system architecture, interface specifications, and technical documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, test, and operations) to ensure system functionality and performance Support risk management, trade studies, and system performance evaluations Provide technical input on proposals, project plans, and schedules Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and organizational processes Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for system-level issues Requirements Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or arelated technical field 5+ years of experience in engineering, integration, and testing Strong understanding of engineering development processes (requirements development, reviewlife cycle, verification & validation) Familiarity with testing standards (INCOSE SE Handbook, MIL-STD, and ISO standards) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Previous experience with DOD programs and unmanned aircraft systems is highly desirable Must be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working with multiple teams to resolvetechnical problems Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required WE OFFER AN EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PACKAGE!
