Job Title: Project Engineer Reports to: Project Manager The Project Engineer supports our project management team across all phases of construction-from pre-construction planning through project execution and close-out. HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will be a member of an international team focused on creating and reviewing efficient designs for state-of-the-art passenger trains, managing complex interfaces, and integrating brake systems. Key Responsibilities * Create concepts, specifications, and technical documentation for passenger train systems. * Responsible for the design and integration of systems into various rail vehicles. * Coordinate technical and project system requirements between Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and other engineering teams. * Act as the primary technical liaison for Stadler's contracted external system suppliers. * Interpret and incorporate local, federal, and customer requirements into system designs. * Define procurement documentation, type testing, and commissioning documentation. * Support static and dynamic field testing of rail vehicles. * Responsible for performing First Article Inspections (FAI) of assigned system(s). * Follow scheduling, budgetary goals and guidelines. * Ensure clear and effective cross-departmental collaboration. * Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
