What You’ll Do
The New Products Introduction Program Manager is responsible for managing the schedule and execution of new products programs in manufacturing in order to meet or exceed milestones as set forth by ZT. The New Products Introduction Program Manager’s scope of responsibility covers the end-to-end production process of new products and is ultimately responsible for factory readiness and the successful implementation of the program into production:
- Serve as the primary interface between global production sites, customer operations, and engineering teams
- Coordinate manufacturing preparation activities and collaborate with manufacturing planning to develop implementation timelines.
- Drive manufacturing engineering and manufacturing management to ensure materials, equipment, training, and documentation plans are in place to support pre-production and production builds.
- Assess, analyze, consolidate, and communicate risk & status clearly and succinctly.
- Identify key program issues and present options for resolution.
- Coordinate internal resources such as engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams in issue resolution and recovery planning.
- Author project status, summary, and issue resolution tracking reports.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, or industrial preferred), Business Administration, or Equivalent
- 5 + years project management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with continuous improvement / lean programs
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
