Partner with Customer Success to improve onboarding, time to value, and early lifecycle health
Lead Customer Communication and Advocacy
Own customer communications, including Maintenance Minute, Monthly Meld, feature announcements, in-app messaging, and lifecycle flows
Ensure every communication reinforces value, progress, and long-term commitment
Activate customer advocacy through testimonials, case studies, and references
Partner Across the Business
Serve as the glue between what we build and how customers adopt and retain value.
Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and Sales around retention goals
Align launches, messaging, and lifecycle programs to a shared Gross Revenue Retention outcome

Position Summary
The ProductManager provides operational and strategic support for DEDCs Tribal Lending Enterprises (TLEs), overseeing product life cycle and ensuring effective servicer oversight, vendor management and portfolio performance monitoring. This role supports the Director of Lending Operations in executing the DEDC Strategic Roadmap and ensures alignment between lending operations and Tribal priorities.
The ProductManager will play a critical role in strengthening Tribal control and oversight of lending operations, enforcing operational accountability, and building internal management and workforce capacity to support sustainable revenue generation and economic self-determination.
Key Responsibilities
1.) Servicer Oversight & Vendor Management
Perform day-to-day monitoring and management of all relationships with servicers and vendors to ensure contractual compliance and operational performance.
Implement and maintain operational controls, including direct data access, transaction authorization, and portfolio performance tracking.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, KPI tracking, and operational reporting on servicers and vendors.
Support due diligence, onboarding, and management of vender and new servicing or capital partners.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all contracts align with Tribal sovereignty and the Arm-of-the-Tribe doctrine.
2.) Product Lifecycle & Portfolio ManagementManage the lifecycle of DEDC lending products, from concept and launch to ongoing performance optimization.
Ensure product features, pricing, and risk structures support Tribal governance objectives and operational strategy.
Track key performance metrics such as loan volume, repayment rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue performance.
Identify operational or product enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and portfolio outcomes.
3.) Operational Alignment & Strategic Support
Collaborate with the Director of Lending Operations to ensure daily lending operations reflect Tribal priorities and DEDC strategy.
Assist in translating strategic goals into actionable operational plans and measurable performance outcomes.
Support enterprise-wide process improvements, operational efficiency, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Contribute to internal reporting frameworks and dashboards for Board and Tribal Council oversight.
4.) Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all products and operations comply with applicable Tribal, federal, and industry regulations (TILA, ECOA, GLBA, and applicable Tribal statutes).
Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal monitoring and external audits.
Assist in developing and enforcing risk mitigation and corrective action protocols.
Safeguard consumer data and operational systems in compliance with Tribal data sovereignty requirements.
5.) Workforce & Capacity Development Support
Mentor and support operational staff to strengthen internal capacity and knowledge transfer.
Identify training needs and participate in workforce development initiatives to support long-term Tribal self-governance.
Foster a values-driven culture emphasizing accountability, operational excellence, and respect for Tribal governance.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business administration, Finance, Operations, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
35 years of experience in lending operations, productmanagement, or vendor/servicer oversight; experience with Tribal enterprises preferred.
Knowledge of Tribal Lending Entities (TLEs), sovereignty principles, and regulatory frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to manage vendor or servicer relationships effectively.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Experience using data and KPIs to inform operational decisions and improve portfolio performance.
