Responsible for detailed requirements engineering to fully document acceptance criteria and implementation detail which support the related product feature. Ensures the Engineering Team understands items in the Feature Backlog to the level necessary to meet the identified Business and Customer needs. Partners with the Engineering Team to optimize the sequence and value of work performed in each sprint iteration to achieve most efficient and cost-effective delivery. Partners and represents the Customer (internal/external) during the development process to ensure the proper product is built to meet the identified need(s). Facilitates the acceptance of work in alignment with the Engineering Team and identified Business stakeholders. Responsible for tactical product development decisions in alignment with the informed Product vision Compiles and analyze enhancement requests from stakeholders, drives the prioritization, slotting and implementation process. Serves as a product component expert to answer product feature questions, validate enhancement requests and other functional support as necessary. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Ability to initiate and drive efforts to completion and follow through on commitments with minimal guidance Understanding of technical components and terms in a manner which allows for effective communication with the Development Team. Demonstrated time-management skills and the ability to guide multiple date driven efforts simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams. Active listener to understand what the stakeholders and customers true needs are and not just their wants/desires. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to discover the stakeholders and customers latent needs and not just take orders. Ability to create well-structured stories which accurately represent the request in adequate detail for a Developer to easily understand without making assumptions. Ability to verbally articulate the customer needs in a manner which complements the written user stories. Ability to effectively partner and communicate with multiple roles and levels throughout the IT organization and the Business. Demonstrated interface between the Development Team and the key stakeholders in Product and the Business. Proven ability to deal with conflict and the aptitude to resolve conflict with minimal escalation. Understanding of when a conflict must be effectively escalated in order to gain quick resolution. Demonstrated ability to establish credibility as a subject matter expert. 3-5 years of experience in software development and delivery.
