Verizon is looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, highly motivated, Sr.Technical Product Owner/Product Solutions Architect to work in the product engineering team for developing security solutions in Technology and Product development organization. You will be responsible for technology development, end to end Solution design, architecture and Solution Delivery management for Platform and Advanced Security Solutions like Cyber Risk Portfolio that support the growing needs of Security professional services business as well as supporting Security platform inititaives. You should be able to work in an agile environment across stakeholder organizations (including Product Management, Security Operations, Network design teams, back office systems, Software Development, Customers, Sales and partner's). The role requires cross-functional communication and decision making in order to drive business objectives and direct contribution to revenue growth. The role includes development of new cybersecurity products and solutions for enterprise and SMB markets with objective of integrating Cybersecurity platform capabilities with Verizon's wireline and wireless product portfolio as well as managed services portfolio including products like Private Networks, IOT, and MEC.

Verizon's Enterprise Cybersecurity platform produces over four hundred million dollars annually in topline revenue for the VBG organization. This portfolio includes Network Security, SASE, Software Defined Perimeter, Network Detection and Response, Cyber Risk, Identity and Managed Security Services platform/services, as well as a security platform and any other new/additional platform or product initiatives for the VBG Cybersecurity product domain - spanning the 5 NIST cybersecurity pillars of Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover.

+ Partners with stakeholders organizations to define and align on product roadmaps, priority and delivery.

+ Works with the product and delivery teams to collaboratively drive new solutions, proof of concepts and help drive the architectural direction of the solution.

+ Supports the growing needs of Security professional services business.

+ Develops and owns Solution Design and Delivery Team's backlog, ensures user stories are written and acceptance criteria are met, and you'll demo the working features internally and externally.

+ Gathers requirements, designing and developing user experience workflows.

+ Collaborates with stakeholders and development teams (internal and external) to ensure successful implementation of new or enhanced functionality for the product.

What we're looking for...

You will need to have:

+ Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

+ Six or more years of relevant work experience.

+ Technical knowledge of complex systems and architecture concepts and ensures project teams are effectively employing appropriate software design techniques.

Even better if you have:

+ Bachelor's degree or ten or more years of work experience in security or network products.

+ Experience with SDLC and development experience to drive POC's and technical solutions.

+ Strong understanding to provide systems perspective and knowledge of compliance frameworks.

The Nitty Gritty

The Scrum Product Owner will own the strategy and clearly articulate the product vision to inspire the cross-functional US/India product development team to deliver high value product increments that make a real difference.

You will play a key role in owning the product backlog to order and steer product development sprint-by-sprint while evolving the architecture, implementation, and development environment of Telular's IoT platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategy of the product development using validated knowledge of customers' needs and the IoT platform vision.

• Focus on developing the right products, constantly groom the product backlog, establish acceptance criteria, and collaborate on product related questions and feedback.

• Participate in Scrum events (Daily scrums, Sprint Planning, Backlog grooming, Estimation sessions, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives) across a US/India development team to deliver high quality product increments.

• Continuously maintain the product backlog order to maximize ROI while coordinating the backlog concerns of all other stakeholders.

• Ensure the top of the product backlog always contains enough items for the next few sprints.

• Own the Product backlog and work with the team and stakeholders to refine the backlog.

• Develop epics and user stories to express the desired feature or functionality with stakeholder and the development team.

• Review product backlog increments as they are completed by the team.
