Develops product definition, design and configuration

Defines, evaluates and maintains engineering supportability, operability and maintainability requirements for products, systems and programs
Analyzes data to produce support, flight operation and maintenance equipment requirements Evaluates engineering changes based on customer requirements and proposes program changes and manages implementation of changes Plans, researches, develops, analyzes, and designs modification and repair solutions that comply with customer, regulatory, Safety and company requirements Establishes planning and design criteria to develop integrated support and maintenance infrastructure. Job Responsibilities:

The C-17 Aircrew Training System (ATS) Training System Support Center (TSSC) Hardware Engineer performs logistics product support to ensure sustainment capability of C-17 Aircrew Training Devices (ATD); researches and provides technical information used to develop and maintain the C-17 ATDs and engineering data. Establishes systems support requirements, approaches and solutions; develops and documents processes. Provides logistics support to influence product designs; determines and develops supportability-related design approaches and solutions. Supports the data collection and analysis needs to respond to customer inquiries. Proposes, evaluates, validates and implements engineering changes. Provides hardware engineering support for the development of ATS Training System Change Requests (TSCR).

Education / Experience: Bachelor' s degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master' s degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Able to obtain secret clearance

These positions offer a competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus, as well as stock/RSU's. The team is seeking Global Product Support (GPS) Engineers to Experience in a technical field is required. Domestic and international travel will be required for this role between 10-50% depending on the product development Lifecycle.Responsibilities:
* System level expert focused on product support for new product development

* Interaction with Hardware, Electrical, Controls, Process, and Software engineering teams to become the system level expert on new products being developed

* Provides guidance to engineering during the design phase of new products on key customer requirements and needs. Including PM service tasks, design for service, design for manufacturability, etc.

* Owns first build and test of the new product in the development lab, working closely with engineering teams providing real time feedback of issues and recommends solutions

* Develops procedures and documents best known methods for service, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks

* Owns First in Fab (Alpha or Beta) customer shipments

* Drives customer fab readiness (facilities set up), installation and start up through production qualification

* Detailed Reporting of field issues for new products in the field

* Drives and owns customer issues on new products during the Alpha build and test phase as well as during beta testing at customer sites

* Develops critical spares parts lists for new products, ensures initial stocking levels are set and ready for new product shipments

* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Science field

* At least 5-10 years of experience in a technical field required

* Experience within the semiconductor industry is a plus; Will also consider candidates out of other highly regulated industries such as Medical Device, Automotive, Aerospace, etc.

* Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10-50% depending on the product development cycle
