A day in the life.
As our Graphic Design Intern on the Marketing Communications team, you'll have an opportunity to work on general graphic design projects, video projects, social media and other projects as assigned.
MMA's internship is a comprehensive program that will provide you with real world business, risk management and insurance experience. Learn to apply the concepts you've learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction. You'll also develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career. Marsh McLennan Agency's internship program gives you the chance to find your interest and place in the insurance industry. MMA's goal is to provide insight into all areas of the insurance industry and act as a springboard into full-time careers in the role you desire.

Working across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging digital spaces, you'll develop everything from short-form social clips (7-15 seconds) to long-form educational and storytelling-driven content.
What you will be doing:
Create high-impact video content and motion graphics spanning short social clips to long-form content that drives engagement.
Design multimedia assets for paid social campaigns, email, websites, and native across global markets.
Develop interactive digital experiences including videos, quizzes, calculators, and other engaging multimedia formats.
Translate complex or dense information into visually accessible stories.
Adapt creative content for different platform specifications and channel requirements while maintaining brand consistency.
Shape multimedia storytelling strategies for emerging platforms and pilot new content formats.
Work within existing brand guidelines while contributing fresh creative ideas to evolve visual standards.
Stay ahead of trends in AI, design tools, and multimedia technology, integrating new capabilities as needed.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure multimedia content supports broader campaign and business objectives.
What you need to be great in this role:
Expertise in motion graphics and video editing tools, particularly Premier & After Effects, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling across formats. Proven experience creating short-form content and longer-form video that engages audiences and drives results.
You must also be experienced and willing to design and produce static digital assets.
Ability to translate abstract financial concepts into compelling visual stories that avoid industry stereotypes and generic approaches.
Strong understanding of digital ad specifications across social platforms and how to adapt creative content for different channels and audiences.
Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with copywriters, designers, and cross-functional partners.
Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Affects, Runway, LucidLink, Frame.io ) and understanding how motion and static design work together.
Curiosity and adaptability to new technologies, including AI-driven creative tools. Experience working with brand guidelines while still pushing creative boundaries.

General Design Responsibilities: • Support and maintain brand standards and tangible branded assets. • Create and annotate mockups for proposed projects. • Utilize creative brief and brand assets to create engaging deliverables. • Proofread and check the quality of work before final delivery. • Produce creative solutions to design-related problems. • Make necessary changes in line with the Practice Lead/Partner Lead feedback and the project objectives. Website Design Support: • Design and develop landing pages, HTML emails, digital advertising and multi-media videos with the Visual Designer. • Execute testing of landing pages and HTML emails. • Craft solutions for layout and styling issues across multiple browsers and mobile devices. Collaboration: • Be flexible to make changes as requested. • Complete the project successfully through independent as well as team effort. • Collaborate with teams outside of the marketing team. • Participate in and contribute to project status meetings. • Brainstorm and create design ideas with cross functional teams. Key Requirements: • Pursuing a BA or BFA degree in Visual Communication & Design, Graphic Arts or Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Animation, or Media Arts preferred • Student entering their Junior or Senior year with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above • Adobe Creative Suite proficient including Illustrator and InDesign • Excellent visual communication skills • Exceptional creative flair and an innovative approach to all projects • Willingness and ability to work well in a hybrid/remote team environment • Accuracy and attention to detail + Video editing experience a plus + HTML experience a plus

POSITION SUMMARY
The Graphics Proof Coordinator is responsible for entering, positioning, and altering graphics supplied by customers or sales team using computers to produce printed materials for the fire apparatus. The Graphics Proof Coordinator will work with customers, vendors, and the sales teams to develop approved graphic layouts for each unit and help drive high quality and profitable option content.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Generate proofs in digital or other format to approximate the appearance of the final printed piece.
Proofread and perform quality control of text and images, including scrub of graphics specifications.
Enter, store, and retrieve information on computer-aided equipment.
Coordinates with production on installation of graphics.
Works with vendors from quoting through the application process to support the sales team.
Installs graphics and striping, along with sizing and ordering graphics materials.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.

Tape measure, professional vinyl knives, wrap squeegees, scissors, hand tools, and power tools.
