DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Prepares charts, graphs and two- and three-dimensional drawings, files and animation from rough sketches, models, written or verbal direction, photographs and/or engineering drawings; illustrates and/or animates tools, products, machines, parts, procedures, buildings, and figure; may illustrate and/or animate full system models.
* Coordinates requirements with users to determine illustrative objectives.
* Edits, rewrites and authenticates technical user manuals, application papers, product descriptions, data sheets and specification books; receives text from technical staff and rewrites documentation in a clear and concise style.
* Improves editorial and visual standards for documents and may recommend new designs, layouts and procedures.
* Participates in quality checking through analysis of engineering models to engineering drawings and logistics management information databases.
