Creative Services is responsible for the design and production of visual materials for the Saint Louis Zoo. The primary focus of the Production Artist is pre-press, production, installation and upkeep of print and sign projects. Primary Responsibilities
· Operate and maintain printers, laminators, print software and finishing equipment

· Trim, laminate, mount, and maintain accuracy and production quality

· Manage material tracking, report shortages and communicate reorders to Manager

Provide VTC and Audiovisual technical support over the phone to users experiencing equipment problems and onsite support for events. Contractor will respond to multimedia and graphics requests each month. Most graphics and multimedia development support requests can take hours to a few weeks to complete creation, videotaping, modification, editing, and/or maintenance. This position will consist primarily of production, pre-production, and post-production work (Filming/Recording, Scripting/Storyboarding, and Video/Audio editing). The Contractor shall ensure completeness and functionality of the products. Contractor shall back-up or archive, maintain, and ensure availability of supported multimedia products.
Qualifications
2 years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent discipline a plus
A+ certification for Information Assurance Technical Level I (IAT-I) or higher highly desired but not required
Must be comfortable working within a dynamic work environment
Should have the ability to self-organize and coordinate resources as needed to complete tasks

Key Responsibilities

Be able to prioritize what needs to be done and work autonomously.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Be accountable for the expected workload.

Provide proofs as necessary for customer approval.
Maintain an accurate electronic record of File Storage following brand standards.
Communicate with other employees, Sales/Service members on job requirements, timing, and special needs; Production team on job input and output; Production Manager/Center Manager on inventory needs for computer supplies.
Be accountable for the expected workload.
Able to prioritize what needs to be done and work autonomously.
Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
