Design a cohesive suite of visual assets for the anticipated grand opening of La CASA, IBA's new Center for Arts, Self-Determination, and Activism (expected late March).

Festival Betances (Flagship Event)
Design all graphic elements for Festival Betances, IBA's largest annual event.

Holiday Concert
Design all graphic elements for IBA's annual holiday concert.
Similar in scope to Festival Betances: promotional social media graphics, main event flyer, and supporting visual assets.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling in repairs.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops and reviewing professional publications.
Education/Training/Experience
Degree or Certificate in Graphic Design or related field
Experience with computer design and layout programs required
Experience designing for both print and digital media
Strong understanding of social media marketing and post scheduling (Buffer experience required), including familiarity with Facebook and Instagram.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Other programs we currently use include Ontrak, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite.
Other Skills/Abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain strong communication with corporate marketing.
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills
To work and concentrate in a loud office setting
Ability to lift 30 or more pounds
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a retail or grocery marketing environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work for both digital and print campaigns.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer Will:
Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer:
1-2 years of graphic design experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
Determine the best output method based on the customer's needs
Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)
Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
