JOB SUMMARY Motion Graphic Designer creates animated images and graphics for use in television and digital video. They use software such as Adobe After Effects to create dynamic visuals that incorporate audio, animation, and visual effects. This is a dual role in that the motion graphic designer also helps aid in the production of 3D content for print, social media, and virtual reality production needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Create moving content and graphics for various media Work with creative teams to incorporate design elements into a project Use Adobe After Effects & Premiere Pro for motion graphics (MoGFX) Use Cinema 4D to create 3D content Good visual storytelling skills are a key to success for this position. Good time management skills as this position will often have several projects overlapping with various deadlines and levels of priority. Good layout design skills and understands the usage of contrast, repetition, alignment, & proximity to make information cohesive. Attention to detail is essential as the work produced often appears in print, video, & as digital content. Collaboration and good communication skills are a must. OTHER DUTIES Building & maintaining virtual reality sets and components Edit network spots, IDs, and other production content, as needed. Field camera equipment is useful. Assist in studio with production as needed, to run cameras and drive virtual productions. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in media production or a related field preferred. Three (3) or more years of experience in network production or related college degree Adobe Certification preferred Church or Ministry experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong computer skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and ChyronHego Prime for live production character generation. Excellent planning and organizational, and time management abilities to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines.
