Your Mission
As a ProductionAssistant / Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our job sites are fully equipped and ready for action. You'll deliver materials, tools, and support directly to crews while also stepping in to assist with job site operations as needed.

This position will perform tasks necessary for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of auxiliary equipment for OPPD s generating units at North Omaha Station or Nebraska City Station. This includes generating work orders, performing surveillance checks and rounds, equipment isolation, equipment performance tests, and providing support for unit operational activities. Incumbent is required to complete all training and necessary steps to progress through classifications from Helper to Auxiliary Operator and eventually advancing to Equipment Operator within three (3) years.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the ongoing and safe operations of OPPD s power generation plants to include but not be limited to water treatment, fire protection, intake structure systems, sewage lift, etc.
Assist in properly removing units from and restoring units to service when authorized.
Operate screen house and intake equipment and assist in all phases of operation as needed.
Utilize operator fundamentals and apply human performance tools to all job activities and operational tasks while on shift.
2. Supports all equipment and system maintenance of OPPD s power generation plants.
Assist in writing work orders due to equipment deficiencies.
Prepare tagouts and system isolations of equipment as necessary/assigned.
Inspect and provide log documentation of conditions and adjust temperature, flow, and pressure levels as needed.
Participate in and complete housekeeping duties to uphold station standards.
3. Participate as a member of the station s emergency response team including fire brigade and hazmat (Nebraska City Station).

Required:
+ Formal education with a minimum of a certificate in power plant or process control technology
or
High school diploma/GED with two years power plant, industrial operations, or military experience to include operating or maintaining large equipment and troubleshooting interrelated power plant systems.

Job Description
This position is responsible for general production in the area of production and packaging of the J. Skinner Baking Company's food products. There are a range of duties in these food production lines that will be rotated every two hours.
Duties and Responsibilities( Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. · Abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
· Follow all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
· Take plastic clams out of case of clams and stack them on either side of the line, break down the case, then stack the broken-down case onto a cart for recycling.
· Take plastic clams off of stack of clams and place onto the line. This job is done first on one side of the line, then rotate position to the other side of the line.
· Take frozen product off conveyor belt and place into the empty clam going by the conveyor. This job is first done on one side of the line, then rotate position to the other side of the line.
· Pull off product from the line and place onto a rack when it came time for a label change or a possible line stoppage. After stoppage or label change, feed the product back onto the line from the rack.
· Case packing. There are two people, side by side, pulling the product off the conveyor at chest level and would place the product into a case at waste level. They would then push the full case, weighing approximately 18 pounds, onto the conveyor to be sent down the line.
· Separate out three sheets of four labels and would place the labels into the case of product for specific orders.
· On specific runs, make up a tray and place the tray on top of the case of product.
· All responsibilities and positions are rotated every two hours.
· At the end of the shift each person is responsible for general clean up.
· All other duties assigned.

Located in Gretna, Nebraska, Vala's is a family owned and operated fall festival open to the public 45 to 55 days a year and is a treasured fall tradition for many families in the surrounding communities. Vala's property spans 400+ acres, including over 50 attractions, such as pick-your-own pumpkins, apples, and flowers, and over 25 food locations. Vala's Orchard Cider Co. joined the farm in 2020, crafting hard and sweet ciders served exclusively on the farm during season, as well year round with our shipping partner, Vinoshipper.
The Cider Production Crew Member is responsible for supporting the production process from start to finish. Reporting to the Cider Production & Quality Control Manager, the Cider Production Crew Member will work through all steps of the production process from pressing apples and fermentation to bottling and packing. Additionally, this position will support cleaning and sanitizing equipment, as well as maintaining a clean production warehouse. This is a part to full time position and is dependent on the production schedule set by the Cider Production & Quality Control Manager.
