Collins Aerospace is looking for a Production Associate in the Paint Dept. to join our manufacturing team in Jamestown, ND. This position will perform paint and surface prep operations for painting. After the parts have been painted the individual will un-rack the parts and deliver them to the internal customer.
**What you will do:**
+ Responsible for prepping, priming of detail parts to current spec requirements along with the capability of Top-coat Application
+ Follow standard operating procedures and specifications
+ Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary
+ Mask and prep parts for paint as required
+ Cure parts after topcoat application
+ Operate Chart recorders
**Qualifications you must have:**
+ Typically requires a HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
