Key Functions
Total commitment to working safe and following all safety rules and regulations
Responsible for safely operating equipment and maintaining a clean workstation in each assigned area
Support manufacturing by maximizing plant uptime and provide support in your stage of production
Interpreting work instructions adequately and successfully completing tasks as assigned
Must demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills
Communicating with team members and leadership to improve safety and operating performance as well as meet job expectations

Responsibilities
Production Coordination
Manage and organize daily workflow for technicians

Handle returns, cores, warranties, and vendor communication
Keep all documentation updated in Protractor
Estimating

What We're Looking For

Position Summary
The essential duties of this position will be to ensure only good quality product is being produced and packaged. This position will assist with the loading and packaging of product onto pallets to be wrapped and placed into inventory. This position will occasionally involve the use of a forklift to move palletized product. Also, this role is tasked with general plant orderliness, clean-up, and basic equipment maintenance throughout the day. Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and understand door work orders sent to the door shop for building. Stay up-to-date and knowledgeable about door terminology and various components to ensure accuracy of parts and pieces pulled.
Responsible for minor assembly and preparation of prefabricated doors and components utilizing saws, routers, pneumatic tools, and other small hand tools and power equipment. Based on the line, tasks may include (but are not limited to) the following:
Cutting down heads and jambs, striking jambs, installing hinges, installing lites, cutting sills, applying weatherstripping, and nailing.
Completing tasks in accordance with SOP's for the provided order paperwork and established quality expectations.
Review order paperwork before beginning production to ensure accuracy of finished products. Review all products and orders before, during, and after production to ensure that quality standards are met before transferring products to the next stage of production and before packaging products for transportation. Utilize tablets and software for documentation.
Palletize, package and wrap, and stage doors in preparation for shipment to customers. Understand that product packaging must be done per specifications to prevent damage during transportation.
Work to maintain a safe and clean environment while achieving department productivity goals. Understand and follow OrePac safety rules and regulations.
Work with team and door shop leadership to analyze and resolve challenges, develop and implement improvements, and maintain a safe work environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.

Production assistant job in Black Eagle, MT
Production Specialists work in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment to create and assemble sign and graphic products for many different business applications. Creative work is performed within the FASTSIGNS Center sign production area that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipment.
Position requirements include cutting printed graphics using a variety of wall cutters, saws, and Exacto blades, as well as applying the product to substrates. The Production Specialist will be required to work in the field performing installations to vehicles, and building interiors and exteriors using a ladder or mechanical lift system, welding and many other construction type work. Careful attention to detail utilizing work orders that outline specifics for each custom order is paramount. Welding, electrical and use of laser equipment is a plus for this type of work.
Wages:
Salary is based on experience of this type of work.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with problem-solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail. This person will control the product being built and installed. POSITION SUMMARY:
Our level I Production Associates work within our door shop, utilizing saws, routers, pneumatic tools, and other small hand tools and power equipment to efficiently and safely machine and assemble pre-fabricated doors and components in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for the provided order paperwork and established quality expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and understand door work orders sent to the door shop for building. Stay up-to-date and knowledgeable about door terminology and various components to ensure accuracy of parts and pieces pulled.
Responsible for minor assembly and preparation of prefabricated doors and components utilizing saws, routers, pneumatic tools, and other small hand tools and power equipment. Based on the line, tasks may include (but are not limited to) the following:
Cutting down heads and jambs, striking jambs, installing hinges, installing lites, cutting sills, applying weatherstripping, and nailing.
Completing tasks in accordance with SOP's for the provided order paperwork and established quality expectations.
Review order paperwork before beginning production to ensure accuracy of finished products. Review all products and orders before, during, and after production to ensure that quality standards are met before transferring products to the next stage of production and before packaging products for transportation. Utilize tablets and software for documentation.
Palletize, package and wrap, and stage doors in preparation for shipment to customers. Understand that product packaging must be done per specifications to prevent damage during transportation.
Work to maintain a safe and clean environment while achieving department productivity goals. Understand and follow OrePac safety rules and regulations.
Work with team and door shop leadership to analyze and resolve challenges, develop and implement improvements, and maintain a safe work environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
Ability to adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated by OrePac's safety program. Ability to perform all essential responsibilities of the job in a safe manner.
Ability to compute basic math problems to include addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to follow established quality standards.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Mechanical aptitude. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and the ability to read a tape measure.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team or individually with minimal supervision while achieving quality and timely completion of assigned tasks to achieve customer satisfaction.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
1 or more years of experience using mills, saws, joiners, nail guns, or other carpentry tools (preferred, but not required).
