What You Will Do:
Review filling and packaging instructions at beginning of line runs. Ensure the correct packaging materials are available. Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is available and other safety procedures are understood and followed.
Ensure the line is set up correctly per the filling and packaging instructions
Operate filling and packaging equipment continually. Types of equipment could include filler, sleeve labeler, cappers, tape machine, bar coders, ink jet printer, hand wrenches, hand stamps, palletizers, and lid presses. Adjust equipment to control weight, closures, or other as required by the specifications.
Take samples and keeps area clean
Actively participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects
Continuingly identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination
Complete and document activities that measure quality and productivity in an accurate and timely manner. This could include taking weights and performing basic quality tests. Enter results on paper or in electronic systems.
Complete packaging and filling assignment meeting or exceeding the standards
Assist with line changeover, including the collection of wash water
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

computer.
* Threads up machine after web break. This includes kneeing, squating,
bending, and reaching through the slitter to thread material
over/under rollers per web path diagram. Adhere to checklists to
make sure there are no flaws in a product
* Will at times be required to lift & palletize products. Weights could be
as high as 60 lbs. Pallets of finished goods are stacked 4 to 6 ft high.
* Monitors pallet counts, cores, & raw materials for the line.

* Work with the Operator to keep the line running productively. Will fill
in for Operator at times when required.
* Ensures housekeeping is maintained for a clean & safe work

Additionally, if the sales quotas are met for the quarter, the entire staff receives a 10% bonus on their base salary for that quarter's wages. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PRODUCTION:
Ensure painting crews are producing jobs with the highest quality and up to the CertaPro standard of excellence.
Ensure that painters are producing jobs in an efficient and profitable manner.
Identify production and quality issues in real-time.
Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints in a timely manner.
Ensure that Job-Site Supervisors are executing the Certainty Service System.
Supports JSSs with clarity on scope of work for painting projects.
Review and maintain Safety and Set Up Processes.
Establish a tentative Finish Date for each job and coach Job-Site Supervisor on completion plans for projects.
Help with Recruiting, Hiring, Ongoing Management and Development of CertaPro Painters Job-Site Supervisors and crews.
Coach JSSs to enhance performance in leadership and project management.
Help owner facilitate monthly production meetings to build performance culture among JSSs
Ensure that crews are meeting expectations set forth with customers regarding hours of work, customer needs, and communication (Who, How and When)
Estimate change orders and additional work on current projects.
MARKETING:
Responsible for ensuring that a lawn sign is visible at every job.
Ensure that crews are in proper CertaPro Painters attire, including branded CertaPro shirts.
Ensure that on-site production vehicles meet the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding signage.
Responsible for ensuring that crews are well groomed and maintain good hygiene.
Execute the ‘Fast Five' - hang CertaPro door tags on the 5 houses surrounding all of our job sites.
Furnish any “drive-by” leads to the RSA in a timely fashion.
Support crews in collecting online reviews, keep crews supplied with Review cards.
QUALITY ASSURANCE:
Ensure that Job-Site Supervisors are executing Daily Updates with the customer and office on completed work for the day, progress of the job, the estimated completion time for the project, and arrival time for the following day.
Verify & facilitate execution of Warranty Work in a timely manner.
Respond immediately to customer complaints and resolve them in a timely manner.
Work with crews to ensure a Net Promoter Score of 70% or better.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT:
Participate in the CertaPro's Skillset Development Program.
Participate in Regional or National Ongoing Training Conferences/ Meetings.
Participate in frequent Goal Setting & Review (GS&R) meetings with your manager.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
Support the Office Assistant in scheduling and assigning appropriate crews to jobs.
Prepare Weekly Analysis of Results in preparation for Goal Setting & Review with your Supervisor.
Track JSS NPS comments and themes to practice continuous improvement in the customer experience regarding production.
Responsible for securing customer approval on change orders for jobs in progress.
SAFETY:
Follow set safety program.
Provide Safety Training
Provide On-going Safety Inspections (Crew & Equipment)
Coordinate Safety Meetings and require all to attend and sign off.
Ensure that equipment is in safe working order.
Ensure that crews are in strict adherence with all OSHA regulations
Ensure that crews possess and maintain the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the products that they are using.
Responsible to ensure that crews are disposing of waste properly.
Production Associate Qualifications and Skills
2-years of experience in a related field - painting or construction
Current driver's license, clean driving record and valid insurance. Position will travel daily to and from job sites.
Exceptional communication skills with a friendly, positive demeanor
Strong written/verbal skills, including proof-reading and basic math skills for estimating
Must be comfortable resolving customer complaints
High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Basic computer skills
Proven record of ability to set, meet and exceed goals
Must speak, read, and write English - Spanish speaking skills are extremely beneficial
Previous experience in the paint industry preferred but not required
Meticulous, clean, detail-oriented and take pride in your work.
Results driven
Ability to work Monday-Friday with some Saturdays and some nights depending on the project.
Benefits/Compensation: Salary and bonus combined: $50k-$75k Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
