Capture a variety of events using professional cameras, with an emphasis on proficiency and proper shooting techniques.
Work within multiple non-linear video editing systems (Final Cut, Premiere Pro) to import, organize, edit, and export programming for all three PEG Access channels with an emphasis on creating quality content.
Troubleshooting general A/V equipment issues as they arise.
Effectively manage PA systems for live events when necessary.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Knowledge: High degree of technical knowledge of the workings of field, studio, and robotic cameras. This position requires extensive experience utilizing professional cameras, editing software, and broadcast playout server applications. Awareness of proper camera composition and framing. Knowledge of several types of microphones and audio equipment. Working knowledge of Mac and PC computers.
Must be creative, yet technical to complete advanced Video Production tasks. Willingness to learn new software and techniques. This position requires both day and evening hours, depending on the schedule of meetings and events. Must be able to work independently and remain calm under pressure. Ability to provide occasional, on-call overage, and occasional weekend days, as necessary. High level of proficiency in video camera operation, video editing, and audio production.

The MTC productionassistant supports the Director of the Musical Theatre Conservatory in all administrative and production aspects of the program, including scheduling and implementing classes and daily activities, as well as stage managing the MTC Cabarets, the Showcase, and additional performance projects. The ideal candidate is interested in theatre education, directing, or theatre administration, and already has stage management experience, which they can apply as needed within our program.
REQUIREMENTS
Stage managing the MTC program, including classes, cabarets, the Final Showcase, and additional performance projects.
Sending out a daily call with information on the class schedule, location, and preparation needed.
Help manage and delegate daily tasks to production teams, supervise show run crews, and provide on-site support in the absence of the Director
Preparing class and production paperwork/music
Basic office administration: maintaining student records, attendance, and faculty paperwork
Prepping and coordinating materials/spaces used for classes and rehearsals
Communicate with students about schedule changes and details
Attend courses/rehearsals when the schedule allows
Communicate regularly with the education department about feedback and the needs of students and visiting teachers in the conservatory
Communicate with teachers, as directed, including the distribution of payment
Documenting the program- photo and video documentation, assisting with social media posts
Work with the Associate Director of Education to complete the Playbill for MTC Cabarets

Hours:2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 3:30pm-11:30pm
**WILL TRAIN FOR 1 WEEK ON FIRST SHIFT**
Pay:$17-18/hr depending on experience
The responsibilities and requirements of the Manufacturing/ Production Helper are:
Trimming plastic parts and packing them into boxes.
Loading/unloading material, finished products & supplies
Sorting, labeling and organizing incoming shipments/inventory
counting materials for inventory
keeping work areas clean
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to get along well with other team members
