The Production Assistant is a key support role within the production team, responsible for assisting crew and departments as required. This includes overseeing the management of all client asset deliveries and distribution to relevant teams. Assist the Producer and Production Crew with production-related tasks as required.

Manage weekly crew imports to ShotGrid and studio calendars, including out-of-office (OOO) and holiday updates.
Track and update sick leave in ShotGrid (reassignments to be handled by co-ords in consultation with leads).
Manage and unify team calendars, add OOO entries, and clean up and maintain chat groups.
Add new starters to all relevant GChat rooms and team communication channels.
Book and adjust internal meetings and general team calls as required.
Take notes during relevant internal meetings, including touch bases and non-department-specific calls.
Track action items and follow up with the appropriate production contact (Producer/LP/PM/Co-ord/Supervisor) to ensure timely completion.

The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be 8-10 hours)
The ability to read measurements, work or calculate numbers, use handheld tools, including but not limited to handheld pallet jacks, pneumatic staple guns, industrial hot glue guns, and power drills.
Must be 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, and the ability to work overtime as needed.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in assembly or a production-oriented environment
SHIFT:
1st Shift hours are approximately 6:45 AM- 5:15 PM, Monday thru Thursday.
3rd Shift hours are approximately 8:00 PM-6:30 AM, Monday thru Thursday.

ABOUT THE JOB
After a 1-2 week training on the basics of cabinet making, AKA Cabinets 101, You will start your shift with an all-hands meeting to discuss production goals for the day, safety, and other plant matters. Together with your teammates, you will manufacturer or assemble cabinets or cabinet components to meet or exceed production goals while keeping our Four Basics in Mind
