The ProductionAssistant role will provide general labor that is necessary to support the cement manufacturing process. This role is a utility role that combines duties assigned to the former Production Utility, Kiln Assistant and Equipment Attendance classifications. The ProductionAssistant does not perform the duties assigned to the Control Room Operator and M&E repair classifications. This role is expected to uphold all safety, environmental and workplace standards. This position supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, and adheres to and upholds all company policies, safety standards and federal / state regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Performs all tasks in a safe and professional manner in conformance with company policies and quality standards.
Inspects mobile equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation and operates mobile equipment as needed.
Uses basic hand tools such as shovels, brooms, squeegees, scrapers, etc as well as operate mechanic's hand tools.
Performs general utility work including pushing up piles of rock and coal with front end loader and other equipment, unplugging belts, and general labor work as directed.
Provides operational oversight for all plant equipment from the rock storage building through the finish mill operations.
Provides process operations support including changes, sets up and adjusts equipment as required by current operating procedures.
Cleans the pre-heater tower riser and associated ductwork during the shift.
Troubleshoots process problems associated with field operations and equipment and may adjust equipment as directed or as dictated by circumstance.
Advises when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
Responds to all incoming communications via phone, radio, and other verbal inputs. Keep logs and daily reports current and accurate.
Keeps the Lab informed of changes affecting product quality.
Keeps abreast of all changes that are made in the control systems while keeping the control room involved and informed of changes.
Must maintain a full understanding of proper operations of all plant equipment and optimize the performance of it on an ongoing basis.
Responds to all alarms and assures that they are taken care of appropriately.
Fills out daily checklist for operations of all plant equipment and for environmental compliance on all operating equipment.
Responsible for assisting in controlling and reducing emissions from the process.
Attends and participates in department and team meetings and training classes and may be utilized to train other employees.
Keeps the work area clean and orderly.
Must remain on the job until properly relieved; must have a proper shift change in that the incoming ProductionAssistant is informed of existing situations and changes that are occurring or expected.
Responds to reasonable emergency call outs on an as needed basis.
Other duties may be required and will be assigned as necessary.
Ability, Skills & Knowledge
Ability to perform mathematical functions for determining silo volumes, material flow rates, etc.
Computer literacy.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Ability to remain alert and responsive.
Proficient in the English language.
Ability to physically work both indoor and outdoor in various weather conditions with or without accommodations.
Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends) to support a 24/7 operation.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, while building rapport with team members and external departments.
Must have a high level of integrity and commitment to comply with all applicable federal / state / industry compliance, record keeping, regulations and standards.
Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that the teammate be available to report to the designated work site / office and be ready to begin work when scheduled,

Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
Operate and maintain printer(s)
Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shoot player wires on gamedays, home and away.
Shoot gameday highlights and atmosphere using equipment such as Arri Alexa 35, Amira, Alexa Mini, DJI Ronin 4D and Insta360.
Shoot all training camp events, such as practice, press conferences, and fan events.
Shoot and live stream all weekly press conferences and ensure their proper distribution and archival.
Shoot and edit events in the community for team social media accounts and internal usage.
Use Adobe Creative Suite to edit in-season social and web videos, such Mic'd Up features, studio interviews, and more.
Shoot and edit partnership/sponsorship custom content and melts.
Shoot and set up studio with lighting/audio equipment for podcast recordings and feature shoots.
Use media asset management software to ingest and log footage, including third party film/video and audio collateral (experience with Iconik is a plus).
Fulfill both internal and external footage requests delegated by our Media Asset Manager.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Will be required periodically to lift and carry production equipment totaling 50-75 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 years video production experience including, but not limited to, camera operation, editing, writing, set lighting, and design.
Must be proficient using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.)
Demonstrate strong creative skills that can be applied to multimedia productions.

Position Profile: Live + Game Day Production Seasonal AssistantDepartment: Production Reports to: Sr Director of Live & Gameday ProductionStatus: Seasonal, Hourly JOB SUMMARY: The Live & Game Day Production Seasonal Assistant will assist the Chiefs in-house production team, 65 Toss Power Trap Productions, with a wide variety of media projects, including gameday production, editing features, shooting events, show production, footage management, and more. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Edit and manage in-stadium video board content for Chiefs home games.
Assist in the game day production of Arrowvision video board shows, in positions such as Clips Operator, Graphics Operator, and Editor.
Assist in the planning and production of all Chiefs live stream productions for all games, home and away, and other Chiefs events, such as Field Pass, Chiefs Rewind and Training Camp Live.
Work as a replay director and assist in the pre-production for the Chiefs independently-produced preseason television broadcasts.
Use media asset management software (Iconik) to ingest and log gameday and training camp footage, including third party film/video and audio collateral.
Live stream all weekly press conferences and ensure their proper distribution and archival.
Edit and manage content for Arrowvision productions of all Arrowhead Events, such as concerts, fan events, and college games.
Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light office duties and activities.
Will be required periodically to lift and carry production equipment totaling 50-75 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 years video production experience including, but not limited to, control room operation and creative editing.
Must be proficient using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.)
Demonstrate strong creative skills that can be applied to multimedia productions.
Technical skills - Experience with control room equipment, such as Ross Production Switchers, Ross Xpression, Daktronics Show Control and Evertz Dreamcatcher, are a plus.
Must be a team player, willing to learn new concepts and processes, receive feedback, and willing to travel for shoots when necessary.
Must be able to work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm beginning June 2026 plus evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, as well as all Chiefs games, home and away.

This position works outdoors year-round and therefore subject to all weather conditions sometimes to include extreme cold and heat.
