Assist the Associate Broker (AB), Broker or Practice Group Leader in meeting the day-to-day technical and clerical needs of the department. Assist with servicing new and renewal business. Service active and expired policy files in accordance with established Brown & Riding values, goals, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
· Meet quality measurement goals by delivering high quality service in servicing assigned clients and accounts. Ensure all file activity meets or exceeds quality procedures with regard to timeliness, accuracy of policies, endorsements, subjectivities, and all other active and expired file correspondence and documentation
· Assist Associate Broker with submission process, as assigned
· Prepare Quotes and Confirmation of Coverage (Binders) as directed
· Policy Checking (Review policies to be sure that they are issued in accordance with what was bound with the carrier)
· Endorsements (Request policy changes, follow up for the endorsements, review for accuracy upon receipt, invoice, and transmit to agent)
· Manage and maintain suspenses (Pending Items that we are waiting for from retailers and carriers), including following up on items and escalating unresolved issues to the broker or AB when necessary
· Ensure Surplus Line documents are submitted correctly and on time
· Learn and increase system skills to improve efficiency
· Attend educational seminars, as required
· Produce and mail renewal letters with applications to customers when applicable
· Review renewal and/or new business information submitted by the customer and request supplemental or explanatory information if required, as directed
· Process certificates of insurance when applicable
Other Responsibilities:
· Provide input to departmental procedures
· Assist with accounting reconciliation projects
· Perform other work-related duties, as assigned
· Work closely with AB Team Lead and assigned Broker(s) in identifying other projects where skills, experience and knowledge can be utilized
· Assist in handling duties of team members, as appropriate, during absences
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
· 0-3 years insurance experience
· Willing and able to take insurance classes and attain designations relating to work in order to continually grow in position
· Exceptional organization, follow-up, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Possess an intuitive and proactive approach to business problems and solutions
· Exhibit good listening skills and a willingness to help and support others
· Advanced skill level in PC software (Word, Excel and other software, as required)
· Ability to be flexible in work schedule as needed
· Manage time to get the job done with minimal supervision
· Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
· Able to interact with a variety of personality styles
· Has or is able to secure the appropriate insurance license within the appropriate timeframe as determined by state requirements
Work Environment:
· Physical activities of job are within the normal expectations of an office environment where the amount of standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and other movements are within the control of the incumbent.
· Vision requirements are in the normal range, correctable with glasses or contacts, where color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception have no significant impact on job performance.
· Working environment is generally within the confines of an office where normal climate conditions support effective job performance. Some daily travel may include limited time spent outside in the elements as part of the normal commute.
· Risk of exposure to hazardous materials, electrical shock, explosives, radiation, vibration or airborne particles are at the extreme minimum. Protective clothing is usually not necessary to effective job performance or safety.

The ProductionAssistant role will provide general labor that is necessary to support the cement manufacturing process. This role is a utility role that combines duties assigned to the former Production Utility, Kiln Assistant and Equipment Attendance classifications. The ProductionAssistant does not perform the duties assigned to the Control Room Operator and M&E repair classifications. This role is expected to uphold all safety, environmental and workplace standards. This position supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, and adheres to and upholds all company policies, safety standards and federal / state regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Performs all tasks in a safe and professional manner in conformance with company policies and quality standards.
Inspects mobile equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation and operates mobile equipment as needed.
Uses basic hand tools such as shovels, brooms, squeegees, scrapers, etc as well as operate mechanic's hand tools.
Performs general utility work including pushing up piles of rock and coal with front end loader and other equipment, unplugging belts, and general labor work as directed.
Provides operational oversight for all plant equipment from the rock storage building through the finish mill operations.
Provides process operations support including changes, sets up and adjusts equipment as required by current operating procedures.
Cleans the pre-heater tower riser and associated ductwork during the shift.
Troubleshoots process problems associated with field operations and equipment and may adjust equipment as directed or as dictated by circumstance.
Advises when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
Responds to all incoming communications via phone, radio, and other verbal inputs. Keep logs and daily reports current and accurate.
Keeps the Lab informed of changes affecting product quality.
Keeps abreast of all changes that are made in the control systems while keeping the control room involved and informed of changes.
Must maintain a full understanding of proper operations of all plant equipment and optimize the performance of it on an ongoing basis.
Responds to all alarms and assures that they are taken care of appropriately.
Fills out daily checklist for operations of all plant equipment and for environmental compliance on all operating equipment.
Responsible for assisting in controlling and reducing emissions from the process.
Attends and participates in department and team meetings and training classes and may be utilized to train other employees.
Keeps the work area clean and orderly.
Must remain on the job until properly relieved; must have a proper shift change in that the incoming ProductionAssistant is informed of existing situations and changes that are occurring or expected.
Responds to reasonable emergency call outs on an as needed basis.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
Remove metal parts from laser cut steel remnants.
Operate power grinders/tools, drill press, drills, belt sander, tapping table and other miscellaneous hand tools.
Perform basic metal fabrication tasks including deburring, tapping, and preparing metal parts for future fabrication steps.
Maintain clean equipment/tools and work area.
Safely operate a forklift, pallet jacks, and other product transporting equipment.
Operating overhead cranes in a safe manner for the movement of materials.
Ability to work required overtime when needed.

The ProductionAssistant reports directly to the SpeedPro Production Manager (PM) and is primarily responsible for assisting in producing various wide-format specialty printing products. This position plays a critical role in the studio's success through outstanding performance in fast turn-around times, high-quality product output, and efficiency with materials to minimize waste.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
75% Printing and Production (including measuring, finishing and some installations)
15% Inventory Management and Equipment Maintenance
10% Miscellaneous (i.e., studio upkeep)
Core Functions:
· Work closely with the PM in the printing and production of client orders.
You will learn to inspect customer files and make the graphic files print-ready
· Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminators and plotters· Finishing of printed graphics· Conduct daily and weekly inventory of all and needed supplies· Unloading/unpacking deliveries· Packing, labeling, and shipping completed jobs· Performing site surveys, vehicle measurements and inspections· Smaller graphic installations· Responsible for a clean and organized production area
