About the Role: Production Associate As a Production Associate at Kumon North America, you will: Maintain and Update Materials: Typeset, edit, and update Kumon's worksheets and related materials across subjects including Math, Reading, and Spanish Reading. Design and Layout: Create layouts for internal publications such as VOICES magazine and the annual yearbook, and design logos and graphics for Kumon events. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with other departments to develop new materials and ensure consistency in formatting and branding. Technical Expertise: Use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce high-quality materials. The Production Assistant will perform manual assembly individually and along a production line, and operate production line and packaging machinery. Specific tasks will include the following: Obtain raw materials and supplies from warehouse. Produce calibrated test tubes by operating a manual calibration gauge (tapping) to measure inside diameter of glass test tubes and monitoring the dials or other indicators. Sort tubes by sizes. Read Sales Orders to determine required products. Set up assembly work for production of required goods or replenishment of Finished Goods. Pick Finished Goods to fill orders. Pick, pack tubes or other products, label, and package to fill individual Sales Orders. Assemble and package all other products as needed. Responsible for quality control.
