This includes generating work orders, performing surveillance checks and rounds, equipment isolation, equipment performance tests, and providing support for unit operational activities. Incumbent is required to complete all training and necessary steps to progress through classifications from Helper to Auxiliary Operator and eventually advancing to Equipment Operator within three (3) years.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the ongoing and safe operations of OPPD s power generation plants to include but not be limited to water treatment, fire protection, intake structure systems, sewage lift, etc.
Assist in properly removing units from and restoring units to service when authorized.
Operate screen house and intake equipment and assist in all phases of operation as needed.
Utilize operator fundamentals and apply human performance tools to all job activities and operational tasks while on shift.
2. Supports all equipment and system maintenance of OPPD s power generation plants.
Assist in writing work orders due to equipment deficiencies.
Prepare tagouts and system isolations of equipment as necessary/assigned.
Inspect and provide log documentation of conditions and adjust temperature, flow, and pressure levels as needed.
Participate in and complete housekeeping duties to uphold station standards.
3. Participate as a member of the station s emergency response team including fire brigade and hazmat (Nebraska City Station).
Qualifications

+ Formal education with a minimum of a certificate in power plant or process control technology
or
High school diploma/GED with two years power plant, industrial operations, or military experience to include operating or maintaining large equipment and troubleshooting interrelated power plant systems.

Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable employee to assist the machinists in preparing material for loading, loading and unloading, cleaning and general shop upkeep. We utilize overhead cranes and fork trucks to do the majority of our material handling.
ProductionAssistant role is responsible for carrying out the required standard activities of their assigned tasks, in full compliance to the Work Instruction and/or Standard Operating Procedure, and without compromise to their own, and colleagues, safety.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
ProductionAssistant
Follows existing guidelines to ensure proper testing, cleaning, pricing and tagging of merchandise. Ensures quality merchandise and assesses items to ensure no product recalls exist, before placing merchandise on the sales floor.
Under the guidance of the Production Manager, Productionassistant will be responsible for working in an assigned daily position for up to 8 hours.
Primary function is Sorting, hanging and tagging of clothing and other items at a rate of 80+ pieces per hour.
Assist other volunteers with answering questions regarding to the production process. Connect Volunteers with Supervisor when additional assistance is needed.
Maintains safe and organized works spaces in all processing areas of the store.
Serves as a backup on the sales floor and donation bay, when needed.

Job Summary
The Operator role is responsible for carrying out the required standard activities of their assigned tasks, in full compliance to the Work Instruction and/or Standard Operating Procedure, and without compromise to their own, and colleagues, safety.
Where required to achieve certified status, the team member will be taught how to undertake their tasks safely, and to a high quality level, through a rigorous Job Instruction process, and will be expected to attain the relevant certification, as measured by the competence matrix and specified in the sites BMS/QMS.
The team member will be fully supported by their Team Leader (TL), who will enable their training, coaching and quickly respond to them if they find any off-standard / quality issues.
They will be expected to actively identify safety concerns (Hazard identification), make problems immediately known to their TL (Pull the Andon), and raise improvement ideas to solve problems (Kaizen).
3rd Shift
They will be part of a team that will collectively work on creating a Great Place To Work through a culture of continuous improvement, safe working and open dialogue.
Job Responsibilities

* Support the team and TL in problem solving, contributing ideas based upon own experience of their tasks
* Be an active member of the team, promoting collective engagement with each other

Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
* A track record of Kaizen implementation
* Experience working within a Lean Operating Model / Production System
* Aerospace experience
* A passion for the Aerospace industry
* Experience operating an overhead crane
* Forklift Certified
* Waste Water experience preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Bone Fill Department
Fillers:
Remove product from boxes and place on trays on the cold table.
Fill product using a filling nozzle and slide trays onto conveyor belt through the cold oven.
Cleaners:
Collect product from conveyor belt and clean each piece.
Remove hardened filling with a spatula as needed.
Packers:
Assemble boxes and prepare pallets.
Sort and obtain products.
Clean product as necessary.
Place product on conveyor for shrink wrapping.
Inspect shrink-wrapped products for damage.
Apply date stamps and labels to boxes.
Count finished products, pack boxes, and place them on pallets.
Perform general housekeeping (sweeping, mopping work areas).
Packaging & Variety Room Department
Assemble boxes and prepare pallets.
Sort and obtain products.
Clean product as necessary.
Manually place products into wrapping machines.
Place wrapped product on conveyor for shrink wrapping.
Place vinyl or printed bags on sealers for sealing.
Start, stop, and regulate conveyor speed.
Inspect shrink-wrapped products for damage.
Apply date stamps and labels to boxes.
Count finished products, pack boxes, and prepare pallets.
Perform general housekeeping duties.
