What You Will Do:
Review filling and packaging instructions at beginning of line runs. Ensure the correct packaging materials are available. Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is available and other safety procedures are understood and followed.
Ensure the line is set up correctly per the filling and packaging instructions
Operate filling and packaging equipment continually. Types of equipment could include filler, sleeve labeler, cappers, tape machine, bar coders, ink jet printer, hand wrenches, hand stamps, palletizers, and lid presses. Adjust equipment to control weight, closures, or other as required by the specifications.
Take samples and keeps area clean
Actively participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects
Continuingly identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination
Complete and document activities that measure quality and productivity in an accurate and timely manner. This could include taking weights and performing basic quality tests. Enter results on paper or in electronic systems.
Complete packaging and filling assignment meeting or exceeding the standards
Assist with line changeover, including the collection of wash water
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Work week and shift: Rotating Schedule 6 p.m.- 6 a.m. 2-2-3 Schedule
Compensation package offered: $19.00 per hour + Shift Differential
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Previous experience in plant or warehouse
Ability to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals

* Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
* May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
* Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
* Understand and carry out verbal instructions
* Read and carry out simple written instructions
* Read work orders, labels, and schedules
* Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
* Make fraction and decimal conversions
* Operate any equipment needed to perform a job

Qualifications

Production Crew Member
Production Assistant Job 42 miles from Greensboro
Position provides support to PRC productions as running crew for main stage and second stage shows. Position focuses in one of the crew areas: stage management, deck, props, wardrobe, sound or electrics. These positions support their production department as assigned based upon the candidate's experience and expertise. Rehearsal and performances occur during evenings and weekends. Day-to-day duties may include assisting during technical rehearsals, show set up, during performance and clean up and restore at the end of each performance. Work is supervised by professional theater staff. Positions will work closely with outside professionals, undergraduate as well as graduate students in the Department of Dramatic Art.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Previous experience in theater required. A commitment to customer service experience including friendly customer care; excellent communication skills; must be a team player and be able to multitask and work under pressure; flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
