Responsibilities * Observe and demonstrate Knauf's safety principles at all times. * Start machine and observe operation to detect malfunctions of machine. * Stop machine and report any malfunctions to a Supervisor. * Make minor adjustments or repairs such as re-thread banding, clears away damaged products. * Inspect fiberglass insulation to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications. Advise Cold End Coordinator and Shift Manager of any problems. * Feed product to various packaging equipment while maintaining maximum productivity and maximum quality. * Replenish packaging supplies such as over-wrap paper, bags, film glue, ink or labels while maintaining a clean, neat and orderly workspace. * Mount supplies on spindles or places supplies in hopper or other feeding device. * Count and positions fiberglass in machines and starts the cycle. * Drives the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce. * Fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization. * Instills an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner.
