The Area Production Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of all construction related activities within their assigned area to ensure even flow production, compliance with building codes, and company quality standards, optimization of construction budgets and ensuring adequate distribution of resources. The Role: We are looking for a team oriented and knowledgeable Production Coordinator to join as a core of our Brand. Your passion and enthusiasm for product development will aid in bringing Ruti life. This position is based out of our Oakland, CA HQ - design office and reports to the Head of Product and Merchandising. The ideal candidate will have production as well as women's collection experience, both domestic and overseas production experience preferred. What You'll Do: Assist supervisor with development, costing, and purchase orders follow up. Review weekly WIPS with supervisor to ensure no issues or delays. Communicate with vendors/factories daily to ensure production sample delivery, development items, shipping documents, care label approval, and cost inquired are completed accurately and on-time Own purchase order creation, item, barcode info and update style master logs Work with logistics and order master sheet to update freight cost changes Create WIP report on a weekly basis styles from development to production status through final delivery into our warehouse Notify inventory and marketing team on new or delayed shipments Ensure data accuracy against cost, payment, and production deadlines Perform database administration including uploading, logging, & tracking. Review sample and shipping invoices for payment, and notify vendors ready date to avoid shipment delay Track packages for Proto, PP, Photoshoot, & TOP samples coming in and going out. Complete special project as assigned. Who you are: Minimum of 2 years in apparel industry & working knowledge and understanding of production Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Understanding of testing protocol, product integrity requirements, product cycle timeline and garment construction Ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple functions Ability to determine and communicate fit corrections Proven ability to work closely and partner effectively with designers Knowledge of construction standards and manufacturing methods Experience working other countries and have an understanding that different countries communication/function differently; Being culturally aware is key Extremely disciplined, have experience with PO tracking and mastering time and action Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision with a sense of ownership and accountability!     THE WORK: The Ripple Media Production Intern will support the production and execution of video and photography for Ripple's media team. You'll work as a key collaborator to produce and assist on a variety of work, from video series and product videos to podcasts to photography.
