Burn from hot skin; pinch points on unloader belts and rollers; falling while straightening skins in the unloader. Wear gloves when handling hot skins. Lockout unloader belts before working on them. Keep hands away from unloader belts and rollers while they are running. Communicate with and be sure the rest of crew knows your intentions before working on the unloader. Use fixed ladders attached to the unloader to access skins. Move master skins carefully and follow plant specific procedures. Resetting breakers and over loads on starters. Arc flash, dust explosions, and shock hazards. Make certain the starter is not energized by turning associated equipment off with the push button or other style of switch before turning the disconnect off at the panel. Wear proper arc flash gown before opening panels. Make certain the door is latched when finished and never stand in front of the cabinet when it is being energized. Working on elevated structures. Slips and falls. Analyze the situation. Wear fall protection when working at unguarded heights above six feet or when traveling and/or operating any high lift equipment. Exterior equipment cleanup, maintenance, and repair. Various potential hazards when working near, on, or in a baghouse, cyclones, dryer tube, etc. Watch for traffic, slick or uneven surfaces, and follow all safety training related to the task. When doing work that is unfamiliar to you check with the manager to gain clear and complete understanding of all procedures and instructions involved. QUALIFICATIONS: Commitment to delivering friendly, helpful, and professional customer service. General automotive mechanic understanding and application. Basic knowledge of auto parts. Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile devices. Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Able to follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) and complete tasks safely and accurately with little supervision. Experience using both hand tools and power tools. Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, lift 50lbs, and stretch as required by a specific task.
