What You Will Do:
As an intern on the team, you will collaborate with production teams, video editors to produce high-level show content, observe departments outside of production and attend event opportunities. You will report to a Producer, contributing to the team by:
Screening, logging, transcribing and clipping footage for shows, organizing head shots, element and melt reels
Creating shot sheets and cue sheets for assigned highlights, logging and archiving video and associated data for future use
Cutting show elements, such as video b-roll, highlights, teases, selecting material for bumps and roll-outs and suggesting creative content during production meetings
Screening video on servers and conducting research in the media asset management system to obtain material for the preparation of production elements
Providing timely, accurate and complete delivery of multimedia elements and publishes to various platforms
Performing crew functions as needed during productions
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in sports media, preferably in television production, or involvement with collegiate TV station
Elite knowledge of sports, including current athletes, rules, strategy and events
Familiarity with server-based media and/or non-linear editing equipment including but not limited to Final Cut Pro and Quantel
High level of familiarity with ESPN and SEC Network programming, platforms and studio

The Production Assistant is a key support role within the production team, responsible for assisting crew and departments as required. This includes overseeing the management of all client asset deliveries and distribution to relevant teams. The Production Assistant will also contribute to internal coordination, meeting logistics, crew onboarding, and asset tracking to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of production.
All duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the Production Company of a Production Assistant, including:
Assist the Producer and Production Crew with production-related tasks as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Create and maintain metrics for production areas as directed by plant management.
Assist plant management and supervisors with data entry and visual control creation and updating.
Perform safety, quality, process, and procedure audits and ensure SOPs are written in visual usable formats
Maintain and update plant training documentation and files as directed.
Assist EHS Coordinator in distribution of personal protective equipment.
Maintain bulletin boards, training library, copy machines, and petty cash account.
Order, stock, and distribute office supplies
Maintain safety communication records, including information on mutual aid organization, 911, and
automated central fire, smoke, and security monitoring systems
Provide administrative assistance for a variety of programs.
Assist in organizing company events.
Assist in packaging and shipping lab samples and other items as needed.
Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment.
Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without
reducing effectiveness.
Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing
matters of importance.

Responsibilities
* Supports operation maintenance and repair of more advanced complex technical production equipment including multimillion dollar computerized Daktronics Led video boards, scoring equipment, operating sound and mic systems, production lighting equipment developing graphics both in static and AVI and other production needs and specifications for each event and determines best configuration of complex equipment and technology to support the unique requirements of each event as well as accommodate client preferences as requested.
* Supports PC's. Supports both WIFI internet technical support for in-house staff, promoters, vendors as well as ticketed audience/fans attending events.
* Coordinates with staff and outside vendors and suppliers the technical setup monitoring, and operation of audio/visual equipment and technologies (monitors, recorders, projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers and other general production equipment) for conventions, concerts, operas, speeches, plays and a variety of other events.
* Keeping up with all the current developments in the industry to new technologies, equipment and practices for the demands of event performances.
* Coordinates the work of technical contractors and assuring that their work is performed at high levels and within time constraints.
* Assist with the training of roster staff with the operations of the sound and new LED control systems as well as other production duties.

Qualifications
* Education: Associate's Degree
* Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience.
* Knowledge in the operation and analysis of various types of Audio Visual Equipment including but not limited to close circuit television, video projectors, monitors and recorders, mixing and amplification equipment, speaker systems and LED systems.
* Ability to coordinate use of modems and wi-fi equipment and service between facility and contracted vendor, including on-site troubleshooting.
* Skilled in adapting stage lighting to customer needs.
* Experience with technical electronic evaluation equipment, hand held Laser, wrenches and other small hand tools, Omega, video and audio streaming equipment and software.
* Flexibility to work nights, weekends and Holidays as hours/days may vary based on event schedule and operational needs.
* Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, and lift/push up to 50 lbs.
