Communicate the need for additional parts not originally included in the estimated job plan to continue the troubleshooting process. + Assist in final inspection or run tests of engines/components before unit delivery. Complete required documentation, such as work documentation, time sheets, and work orders, via handwritten forms or business system input screens. + Complete training in line with job skill level and business requirements. + Maintain the cleanliness, storage, and proper operation of the work area and tools. + Project a positive company image by interacting cooperatively, supportively, and courteously with fellow employees, customers, and management, displaying a professional attitude. + Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality training, policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to the supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following: + Requires significant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. + Engine assembly, engine repair and diesel engine experience preferred. + Ability to use manual and power tools, must possess basic level of knowledge in measurement equipment (dial indicators). + Must be able to lift 35 pounds and physically lift, stand, squat, kneel frequently, wear required personal protective equipment as required and operate forklifts preferred. + Basic computer software knowledge is preferred. + This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings. + Please note, this is a first shift position.
