Tasks and Responsibilities:
Verify Component Quality: Inspect parts and ensure correct part numbers before use to ensure accuracy.
Safely Handle and Transport: Move components to various production stations while ensuring safe handling throughout the process.
Modify Components: Make modifications to components to meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
Confirm Specifications: Verify that components meet the required specifications for each production run.
Operate Equipment: Use specialized equipment to grip and bend golf club shafts and heads according to design standards.
Adjust Settings: Adjust settings and modify components as necessary to meet quality benchmarks.
Alter Components: Fine-tune components to meet the required standards before the final assembly process.
Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.

About the Role
We are looking for ambitious movie-obsessed students to join our IMAX Internship Program this Summer! This 10-week program will focus on hands-on learning, skill development, and real-world work experience in a collaborative and innovative environment. This program will take place June-August in our Playa Vista office!
Are you curious about how IMAX content is created? Do you want to learn more about IMAX's first in class projection and sound systems? The post-production and Operations team at IMAX is responsible for creating and distributing all iterations of an IMAX release to our global theatre network. We are looking for a self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced, highly detail oriented, collaborative team environment.
What You'll Do:
* Partner with our Quality Assurance team to check multiple versions of our IMAX titles
* Learn basic digital cinema mastering tools and procedures
* Collaborate with our internal Distribution and Studio partners to establish timelines and deliverables
* Learn basic workflows of 70mm print distribution
* Help out with fulfillment of our DCPs to our network as well as projector parts
What You'll Need:
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Film Studies or Production, Technology or Coding, or Communications
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
* Ability to take direction, fulfill responsibilities under pressure, and adhere to strict deadlines with limited direct supervision
Nice to Have:
* Demonstrated customer service orientation desired, with an approachable and personable outlook
* Previous internship/co-op experience
* Passion for IMAX!
