Grasp textiles from a cart/bin then sort, inspect, and grade according to quality standards.
Fold, assemble, and package by hand different types and sizes of textiles.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for the drying/smoking, storage, and inventory rotation of dried/smoked seafood products. The employee in this position performs a variety of duties including receiving dry inventory, labeling and weighing of products, and maintaining a clean and organized working area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Cut, arrange fish in trays for drying. Push rack with strips of fish in dryer, oven room.
Checks and verify quality of dried fish and reports any damages to supervisor.
Packs dried fish in different pack sizes, according to orders.
Checks to see that certain items are vacuum packed and labeled with the proper weight.
Attaches dry labels to all products with this information: ID numbers, Lot numbers, case weight, piece weight and case number.
Cleans the inside and outside of dryers. Inside-pick up rubbish, sweep, and arrange the stock. Outside - sweep and mop the floor, wipe counters and racks with disinfectant cleaners.
Follow all Safety and House rules and guidelines.
Perform all other tasks and duties as directed by the Freezer Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Six months to one-year work experience in food preparation, particularly seafood.
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
TB Clearance.
INTERPERSONAL INTERACTION
This position reports directly to the Dry Production Lead and/or Dry Production Manager. On a daily basis, the person in this position will interact with employees from various departments within the company. Ability to effectively communicate with employees is an essential part of this position.
