The Position: The Seasonal Production Generalist Assistant is responsible for supporting the King Arthur Baking manufacturing team by ensuring the smooth operation of parchment production, a fast growing part of the business, and other supporting processes within the food manufacturing facility. This includes assisting with packaging production, assembling boxes, and performing various sanitation tasks. This position requires versatility, adaptability, and a keen eye for detail to maintain high-quality standards and efficiency in production. Flexible hours are available between 7am-11pm.
The Location: White River Junction, VT; onsite daily.
The Pay: $18.21 to $19.14 per hour worked; commensurate with experience. A 10% retention bonus will be paid out upon successful completion of the season
The Schedule: This is a seasonal part-time role with flexible hours between 7am-11pm Monday through Friday. The season begins in mid-September and lasts through the end of the year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist production of parchment paper food contact room.
Support sourdough production through jar labeling, and case packing
Assist with food safety sanitation tasks.
Complete documentation related to production and quality.

Process, accurately weigh and label trim, underweights, or other usable cheese, store properly in trim totes.
Provides for movement of product through packaging lines, to include separating pieces and feeding them to check-weigher, feeding them into the packaging machines, or individually placing them into bags.
Accurately weighs pieces of cheese, communicates variances to target, and make necessary additions or subtractions prior to packaging.
Ensures product meets or exceeds quality standards (which includes but are not limited to): free from foreign objects, metal detection expectations are met, visual inspection of product.
Ensures that product from lines is properly palletized insuring that counts are accurate, the correct box information is printed, and that required record keeping is performed in an accurate and legible manner.
Keeps areas swept and clean, assist in changeovers, and/or help on other lines.
