WHAT YOU'LL DO
Packing containers of fresh leafy greens and herbs

Capture a variety of events using professional cameras, with an emphasis on proficiency and proper shooting techniques.
Work within multiple non-linear video editing systems (Final Cut, Premiere Pro) to import, organize, edit, and export programming for all three PEG Access channels with an emphasis on creating quality content.
Troubleshooting general A/V equipment issues as they arise.
Effectively manage PA systems for live events when necessary.

The incumbent supports the University Marketing team by producing high-quality, engaging video content that advances UMass Dartmouth's brand, recruitment, and storytelling goals. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation and Storytelling
* Produces high-quality video content with a focus on increasing engagement, promoting leads on the website, supporting recruitment, retention and other University initiatives

WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Packing containers of fresh leafy greens and herbs
* Identifying unacceptable quality products to discard
* Sorting and selecting high-quality products to pack
* Filling containers to an accurate weight using scales
* Properly handle products and containers to maximize shelf life and appearance to the Company's expectations
* Performing repetitive tasks at a consistent pace that meets productivity expectations
* Labeling, boxing, and staging product materials and supplies
* Handling, organizing, and loading production supplies and equipment
* Assisting with inventory control and cold storage organization
* Assist with daily cleaning of production areas, equipment, and supplies
* Assist with periodic cleaning of common areas in the facility
* Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Company food safety policies, Company employee safety policies, and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).

You will be a key member of our podcast production team, assisting with various tasks throughout the production cycle. You'll work closely with the Production Manager and Producers to create positive experiences for guests of the show. Responsibilities
Pre - Production and Studio Operations
Assist maintaining and update a complete gear inventory for the studio (cameras, lenses, mics, lights, cables, stands, batteries, chargers, teleprompter, and accessories)
Manage, organize, and label all equipment and storage areas
Ensure all gear is charged, updated, tested, and show-ready before each taping
Assist with gear maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting
Track equipment condition and coordinate repairs, replacements, or purchases
Create & maintain daily/weekly/monthly gear checklists
Assist with lighting adjustments, audio setup, teleprompter operation, and technical testing.
Support Producers during production by running technical tasks (teleprompter, transcription tools, etc.)
Ensure the studio is clean, organized, and aesthetically ready for guests
Oversee prop organization and studio supplies (gaffer tape, batteries, cleaning supplies, etc.)
Prepare hospitality elements for guest tapings (water, signage, seating, etc.)
Assist the office team with any errands or requests
Production
Greet guests, help them get settled, and ensure they have everything they need
Coordinate with internal teams on guest logistics during production days
Support Producers with guest flow throughout the production day
Support meal/catering coordination on in-studio production days
AssistProduction Manager with any studio-related logistics during taping weeks
Manage studio reset after each taping to ensure readiness for the next shoot
Go on runs and errands with urgency and efficeny
Post-Production
Maintain folders, documents and files, keeping everything organized for the production team as they work through post-production.
Assist in maintaining all folders in Dropbox and Aprimo keeping them up to date and labeled correctly.
Assist in Maintaining company email inbox
Assist in Maintaining freelancer and guest contact list
Qualifications
0 -3 years in production, studio operations, or gear-related roles
Strong understanding of audio/video/studio equipment (or eagerness and ability to learn quickly)
Fast Learner and Ability to troubleshoot technical issues calmly and efficiently
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standards environment
Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and manage physical studio tasks
