Mark and sort finished pieces according to available proofs and documentation to aid the installers

· Review renewal and/or new business information submitted by the customer and request supplemental or explanatory information if required, as directed
· Process certificates of insurance when applicable

· Provide input to departmental procedures
· Assist with accounting reconciliation projects

THE OPPORTUNITY
As the result of an internal promotion. we are currently looking for a motivated Mining Production Leading Hand to join our Mining Production department.
Reporting to the Mining Production Supervisor, the Mining Production Leading Hand is a key role, responsible for facilitating the safe and efficient daily mining activities as well as the successful of execution of mining production and development projects.
This is a permanent full-time role which operates on an 8:6 7:7 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mining:
Ensuring the mining face is set up for safe mining and compliance to PLS procedures.
Ensuring the direction of mining is in line with the correct extraction of clean ore that minimises ore loss and dilution.
Work with the survey and geology teams to coordinate the timing of mark ups and drop in/lift guidance to not impact production.
Ensuring floors at dig units/loading bays are on correct grade.
Ensure TBMs are always present.
Ensuring the dump locations are set up, safe and compliant.
Liaising with production co-ordinators and engineers to understand the dump progression requirements.
Works in the field to reduce hang time, reduce queue time to keep trucks moving by directing people and equipment movements where required.
Development:
Set up and maintain traffic management in all work areas to be complaint to PLS procedures and aligns with industry standards.
Monitor and maintain road signage and delineation, ensuring cleanliness, compliance, and proper storage.
Ensuring drill pattern compliance for windrow heights for separation to HME and pit edges.
Ensuring drill pattern floors are suitable for drilling and blast personnel on foot.
Ensuring drill and blast access ways are positioned to minimise vehicle interaction.
Liaising with Geo Techs to ensure final walls are scaled to a high standard with no rework.
Managing the rock breaker movements between the ROM and in pit.
Facilitate and execute projects such as new haul road construction, go lines, fuel bays, land clearing, walking the LUC with operators, topsoil relocation.

ABOUT YOU
As an experienced Mining Production Leading Hand, you will ideally have:
Proven experience in a relevant leadership role involving open-cut mining operations and development projects.
Proven experience in with selective mining processes in a hard-rock open-cut mining environment.
Strong knowledge of mining equipment, processes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
Familiarity with WA DMIRS guidelines, industry best practices and WHS risks.
S26 Statutory Supervisor qualification.
Effective communication, leadership, and project management skills.
A proven track-record of achieving production targets in mining operations, as well as reducing cycle times and improving efficiency metrics.

The Production Crew will process vehicles in a safe manner to produce core & scrap products, enable the customers to pull parts, and satisfy environmental requirements.
Essential Functions:
* Follow company policy and procedures, as to set the example for the rest of the team.
* Degarbage: Remove Freon, power steering fluid, power brake fluid, batteries, excess garbage, and other items as prescribed by procedure.
* Drain: Remove gasoline, coolant, waste oil, transfer case oil, catalytic converters, and other items as prescribed by procedure.
* Set & Pull: Place vehicles on wheel stands so customers can safely access sellable parts. Remove vehicles and clean up the surrounding area in preparation for the next vehicle set. Other duties as prescribed by procedure.
* Field Decore: Loosen the motor and transmission mounts. Remove any remaining tires and selected core items as prescribed by procedure.
* Ground Decore: Remove heater cores, copper wire, and other items as prescribed by procedure. Maintain the crush pad work area to reduce equipment downtime, harvest cores, and ensure environmental compliance.
* Table Decore: Dismantle engines and transmissions. Remove selected small cores, harvest wire, sort commodity materials, and other duties as prescribed by procedure.
* Tire Dismantling: Use the tire machine to separate rubber tires and wheels. Remove weights and stems. Sort tires and prepare rims for shipment.
* Janitor: Collect and harvest core dismantled core materials. Remove debris. Identify & address safety risks in the customer area. Other duties as prescribed by procedure.
* Miscellaneous: Assist customers as needed in a courteous manner. Review and complete logs for regulatory and tracking purposes. Maintain and replace storm water control devices. Assist in the review and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Qualifications:
* Ability to wear and maintain all prescribed PPE and follow basic safety practices.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions including comprehension of basic safety messages and labels (waste oil, gasoline, flammable, etc.).
* Ability to complete safety, environmental, and code of conduct training.
* Able to work required hours which may include weekends, holidays and OT.
