Position Purpose The machine operator is responsible for unloading, loading, pulling orders, and the movement and sorting of cotton bales, to and from storage locations. What You Will Do Perform all operations in compliance with safety policies and procedures., Safely operate industrial lift trucks. Unload, stack, and locate bales into inventory. Breakout (order picking). Sort and prepare bales per shipping orders. Repair damaged bales. Load bales from the staging areas onto outbound freight. Maintain and fill out a daily lift truck checklist before every shift. Use handheld devices. Assist in routine building and grounds maintenance. Assist Fire Prevention and Maintenance personnel in required regulatory testing and repairs. Perform other duties as assigned.
