Job Duties will include:
Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
Operate and maintain printer(s)
Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
Clean and maintain storage areas

Based out of Rocket Lab's site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, we're looking for Operator I/II, Production to join our production team and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Rocket Lab is a leading provider of high efficiency solar cells, solar panels, and composite structural products or satellite and aerospace applications. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure an excellent retail presentation by performing stock control tasks to prepare for the start of each day.
Remove stale stock as scheduled and ensure proper recycling or disposal of materials.
Sort items from boxes, bags, or tubes efficiently and maintain workspace cleanliness.
Clean, tag, and price items accurately according to guidelines. Ensure all merchandise is price-checked before stocking.
Embrace training and adjust to changes in pricing, grading, or display layouts based on seasonal needs or demand.
Modify processing activities as directed by the supervisor to meet operational needs.
Keep clothing areas stocked with hangers and organized for accessibility.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation and processing area.
Report hazards or maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
Adhere to all policies, operating procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
Maintain a reliable and punctual attendance record.
Support daily store operations, including occasional janitorial duties, seasonal merchandising, and other tasks assigned by management.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers.
Ability to work assigned schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized store and production environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and perform various tasks as required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous retail experience preferred.
On-the-job training provided.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and perform job duties for extended periods.
Must work effectively in a fast-paced environment with assigned quotas to meet.
Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds when necessary.
Must be able to see details close-up and identify various colors.
Frequent reaching, kneeling, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and rotating are required.
