Responsibilities: * Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required. * Understand Quality Policy requirements. * After training, participate as a member of the chemical emergency response team. * Maintain TDI gas monitor at head of round block and flat block lines. * Assemble mix heads for all lines: round, flat, and CO2. * Set up machinery in preparation of production runs. * Start up and shut down machine properly. * Properly secure TDI, water, and or tin injectors into mix head. * Operate: main pour/purge switch, conveyor, fall plates, mixer, and fence on round and flat lines. * Monitor production variables and ensure the variables fall within an acceptable range. * Monitor cream line and foam for any defects and react accordingly. * Remove and properly clean TDI, water, and or tin injectors. * Clean mix head after end of run and remove mix head at the end of the week for proper cleaning. * Prepare nozzles for round and wing pours. * Prepare sieve package for CO2. * Properly clean sieves after CO2 pour. * This position may be required to work daily and/or weekend overtime. * Keep area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are appropriate. * Cross train in other positions as required.
